I love the consistency of the oats....not mush pr pastey!
So delicious, even people who don't like oatmeal like this oatmeal!
Perfect for making overnight oats %26 great source of protein.
My family loves these Protein Oats! They are very creamy. I had to learn how to cook them, and they take a bit longer to cook than regular oats, but the extra few minutes are worth it. They taste good too.
I don't understand these people tripping on finding hulls. I eat these oats almost every day and never find hulls. None. The texture is as expected - just like most other oats. Oatmealy. Seriously, people.
I love the taste of these and that they add extra protein to my diet, BUT there are so many husks it makes it somewhat unpleasant to eat. Before I cook them I sift through to get as many out as I can, and probably remove 20. Then while eating I probably remove another 20.
I love the product but the husks throw the whole thing off. It's in the regular rolled oats too! Was hoping it wouldn't be in the protein ones so I tried... but... they're just as much there. Picking them out before I make them every time is not going to work for me. This should be done in the factory especially for the price. I'll stick to my cheaper brand with no husks.
Was so excited to find oats that are higher in protein, without extra additives! Unfortunately, there are so many inedible husks that I really can't eat these oats. It's very unpleasant! Tonight I tried them for the second time. I made 1 serving, which is 1/3 cup oats. Look at how many husks I pulled out. Very disappointed in the quality of these oats and sorry I paid extra for this variety.
I am so happy we are not the only ones pulling many many Oat Hulls out of every single bite. I think my husband is annoyed with the all the texts I send daily saying how much I dislike these oats. This brand is typically a good ones, however, these protein oats have just been horrible. It is at the point where they are almost inedible because every single bite has hulls that just make it taste like you are chewing on plastic...
There were so many husks in the high protein oats that they made me gag constantly when eating my morning oatmeal. I tried to sort through them to take out the husks but there were just too many. This was totally inedible for me. And I normally LOVE all the products from this company.
