I bought this semolina specifically to make pasta noodles. The texture and consistency of the dough made was excellent and much better than using regular white flour. Not many options when it comes to this type of flour so price comparison is tough to do.
I Always try to use semolina flour when making cheese (Ricotta, and Parmesan) ravioli, but had run out. Not carried at my local Walmart, and ordered it on-line through Walmart. Got here via UPS real fast. Bob's Red Mill Semolina is worth the wait for homeade raviolis. I recommend using this brand. Living alone, I make a big batch, have some, and freeze what I don't eat.
I bought this to make homemade vegan pasta. I really appreciate the company values of Bob's Red Mill and naturally go for their products. This one doesn't disappoint. It's in a conveniently sized package with an opening wide enough to measure the ingredients out without making a mess. I also like that it reseals.
I had tried semolina cake in a restaurant, and seeing a recipe for a Middle Eastern rose cake calling for this ingredient made this brand a winner once again. The package makes it easy to store, even if I don't want much, or to use it that often. I always trust in the quality of all the grains and flours I get from BRM, and I have never been disappointed.
I love making my own pasta now that I have a pasta machine! Unfortunately, regular flour's are not milled fine enough to truly make the best pasta. I discovered Bob's Red Mill and it's my "go to flour" for my pasta. It's excellent quality and much more affordable and easier to find than other brand
After initial attempts with all-purpose flour, I discovered that adding Bob's Red Mill semolina flour took my pasta to the next level. The flavor and texture improved significantly, and I was impressed by the quality and generous package size. Not only do I love the taste, but it's also a cost-effective choice. Bob's Red Mill semolina flour is now a staple in my pantry, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their homemade pasta game!

I love this semolina flour. I use it to make pasta from scratch. The package size is the same as my grocery store carries, but iherb's price is much cheaper. This is high quality semolina flour, and I used it in my recipe for ravioli pasta, and the dough came out perfect.
I had never tried Semolina flour before and I wanted to try making homemade pasta. So I did and I have to say it was not quite what I expected. To me it has a different taste as compared to regular flour. My husband really liked it but me not so much.
I use it for semolina porridge. I thought it's gonna be like oat flour but they are actually different. This is more grainy and it absorbs more liquid in comparison to oats. If u wanna try something new, u may give this a go! But still, I'll prefer oat flour more coz they are definitely a lot more smoother:) hope this helps!
