The pitcher i have was my Grandmother's she bought years ago and us family teased her. Few months ago my sister in-law and I had to go to our doctor's with severe stomach pain. Two separate doctors gave same diagnosis, that it was the tap water we were drinking has toxins intended to sterilize the water but are harmful to humans. Both doctors recommended drink bottled water and/or use a filtering system. I just found my Grandmother's pitcher now looking for the filters for it.

Love these Brita Filters i am glad they have redesigned them,because before i would always get little pieces of black carbon floating in the water and i remember you would always have to soak them for about 15 min.before using, now you no longer have to do that, great improvement. I have been using the Brita for years and i would not drink my water any other way. .

Being a senior I probably don't have to change my filters as often as a family so works perfectly as far as expense is. the quality of the water is great as our water tends to have a lot of calcium in it so the filters really help. I use it to fill my coffee pot also so I am not replacing because of build up even tho I clean.

I am a long time friend of Brita. I purchase the filters in the three pack because Brita allows them to be recycled by visiting their website and printing off a label to mail them back at no additional costs.

I stopped buying bottled water a couple of years ago due to buying a Brita. I constantly check prices and have found this site to be very reasonable for Brita filters, (well, I do wait for a bit of rollback).

Perhaps it is filtering the water, which is great, but it makes the water taste like paint water. When i first pour my glass of cold water it tastes fine, but after sitting out for 20 minutes it starts to taste like paint was mixed in or some kind of chemical. Absolutely awful. I've used off brand filters for my brita pitcher and it does not make the same taste so it has to be the brita filter that is doing this. Please fix whatever is causing the taste because it's awful and I feel like I shouldn't be drinking it.
