California has bad and hard water, so much so everyone must purchase bottle water or use filtration systems on your facets for drinking water. Over 2 years ago I started using the Brita water filtration system. As a reminder to purchase the replacement filters I add it to my shopping list every two months so that my family can enjoy clean, clear drinking water and cooking water. If you do not own your place of residence the Brita system is the best way to go to clean the water. I highly recommend that you substitute the plastic installation ring with a steel ring from your local hardware store it will last forever without any worries. This was the better investment ever.
This water filter is excellent and removes impurities from the water leaving it tasting good. My order arrived quickly for store pick up and while the products themselves arrived in good shape, the box was crushed, which would have looked bad if the order was a present.
I like the idea that I have the choice of filtering or not filtering my water. I don't filter my dish water or cleaning water. I use t;he filter for making coffee,, tea, juice drinks etc. My coffee and tea taste so much better now that I can filter the water I use.
My wife and I slowly quit drinking tap water because of the taste. We bought Britta faucet filter system, along with two Britta water filter containers. We put one in the refrigerator because my wife likes hers cold. And we have one on the counter, I like mine room temperature. Now we both drink more water than we ever have. I don't know why we didn't do this sooner. I recommend it to everyone, it really improves the quality of our water.
Tap water tastes pure and refreshing with Brita On Tap Water Filter. I've been using this type of water filter for several years. Easy to attach to the faucet. We are very pleased.
I have been using brita's products for over a quarter of the century. I started with the pitcher filters and then just attached the filter system to the faucet. I find it so odd of the elderly neighbors I have purchase case after case of bottled water being misguided; it's simply filtered water, packaged in plastic. It's detrimental to their wallets but more importantly to the earth...so sad. I'm able to fill my coffee and tea pots, the ice cube trays, and my travel thermos. It's so much better and more economical.
Price on Two Replacement Filters. Bought on-line and picked up in the store and saved at least $5. on each filter. After less than a year use and pleased with its intended use, only after fully understanding the Brita On Tap Faucet Water Filter replacement terms - that Brita only makes one filter style to fit the On Tap Faucet system in different colors. Did I notice one day a glass of tap water pulled without the filter knob turned on, the water had lots of very small partials white or glistening, whirling around all through out the glass. I then pulled a glass with the filter turned on, and quite a bit of difference as much as I couldn't see anything in this one, even after a closer look. I just wished the On Tap Faucet system had replacement filters more in a cost comparison to their water pitchers replacement filters cost. I'm the only using mine and one filter lasts me 3 months about with coffee and cooking use.
we lived in an apt for a while and had to depend on filtered water ,so ofcourse brita was our 1st choice.the filter worked fine, the replacement filter on the other hand, would not show the green light and had to be given back and the 2nd one i bought did not work as well ,so unfortunately i had to change to pur, but i still prefer brits to put.
I had those pitchers which filter water but the filters are faulty; always telling you that you need a new one. This faucet one is much easier and more economical I think. I like Brita better than PUR
I've used the faucet system for 15+ years. Used to be a great product but lately (last year or so), the last couple of twin packs replacement filters I've purchased are very very slow. I've even bought a whole new system to no avail and its not any better.
