The sliding door security bar works better to keep you secure in barring anyone from coming into your home although it has other uses I use it too secure my door and have already bought two and feel that it is sturdy and unmovable. I bought them as when I was in my jeans, my father had and old style sliding door, metal bar and that's where I got this idea. I personally think that the chain door lock is really not gonna keep anyone from breaking down your door as well as the sliding door, security bar and so glad that I was able to find it.

Easy to put together. Fast shipping and very sturdy. I use them every night and they have held up great.

I don't recommend this product. I purchased one similar to this product but better in Walmart store made by Brinks. Better quality and already put together. Don't waste your time and money on this one. If you need one please purchase the Brinks instead at Walmart.
