Campbell cream of chicken soup is a staple for my kitchen any day. Along with cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, etc… They make cooking any recipe easy and so much better. Very convenient.
This I use for chicken pot pies, chicken %26 noodles/pastry and chicken with rice. It gives all of these dishes a richer taste. O course, I dilute it but it is nice to keep it on hand.
We keep this on hand to make casseroles, gravy, baked pastas, or just a bowl of soup. Easy to turn into a meal. It’s creamy, full of chicken flavour without being too salty, has a lovely smooth texture. A nice bowl goes well with grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches, bread and butter saltine crackers, or anything you want. To make it creamier, I’ll use low-fat evaporated milk instead of water before adding to casseroles or pasta/potato bakes. Good value for money. I recommend this product.
I love this soup been eating it for a lot of years. Good with a grilled cheese sandwich dipping. It’s not just good for cooking with. Been around along time. Use it all the time. My go to soup when I’m not feeling well. It has great flavor I add a can of water to rinse out the can and whisk it to make it creamy and smooth.with a touch of salt. So yummy.
I use this soup regularly in several recipes, and it has always worked well. I have no complaints about the quality or flavor. I definitely prefer this version over the reduced sodium option because I think it has a richer, better taste. It's a staple in my pantry.
So I've been trying different "House Brands", %26 others, but so far they just don't compare to the flavoring of Campbell's Cream of Chicken. That's why it's my "goto" for special meals. Campbell's pricing has gone up too much over the years, so for everyday meals, I still use Great Value Cream of Chicken, but when I have guests over, this is what I use...
This is one of those pantry items I always like to keep on hand because it works in so many recipes. We use cream of chicken soup in all kinds of casseroles, but it’s especially a must-have for tater tot casserole in our house. It adds a rich, creamy texture and great flavor without requiring a lot of extra ingredients. The consistency is always reliable, mixes easily, and helps pull an entire dish together. I’ve also used it in slow cooker meals, chicken and rice recipes, and homemade sauces with great results. Buying the four-pack is convenient because we go through it pretty quickly. If you make family meals, comfort food, or casseroles on a regular basis, this is definitely a kitchen staple worth keeping stocked.
Is it just me or did this soup use to have way more pieces of chicken before? It seems to have very little in it now. It's also extremely salty, but maybe my tastes have changed over the years since I don't usually eat canned soup very often anymore.
Campbell's Soups used to be the greatest soups on earth! That's until they tampered with the ingredients and began including GMOs. There's an old saying; “If it's not broke, Don't fix it!” The taste/flavor has not been the most delicious, greatest, best soups ever since! The consistency is definitely different as well. I grew up eating these soups and will forever be angry that Campbell's Soups added the MODIFIED ingredient(s)! YES, it did change the taste! I will never forgive Campbell's for doing that to their loyal consumers! I'm almost 70 and know how it's changed from the BEST to just okay. And making us eat GMOs! Shameful!
Everything Campbell's is yummy BUT the dented cans make me want to look at another brand. Today alone, I received 9 damaged cream of chicken soup cans. No, not little dents... BIG, leaning, separated labels, bad. Walmart: Great prices, inventory but what a waste to have product like this on your shelf. Your customer service clerks who pull orders, should pull theses off the shelf or report it right away and return to mfr.
