I have growed to like orange flavored physium fiber, this is simular only a little tangier.I like this too.It works and it helps me to get in a galon of water a day.I dont mind little cups of plain water, but it gets over welming if you have to drink alot of plain water, and I need alot of hydration every day or I pay for it.
I dont like taking fiber supplements, but since I need one, I recommend taking Citrucel as it isn't gritty tasting. I wish it had more orange flavoring.
My gastroenterologist recommended this for me. While it is not pleasant, it is not bad. The trick for me is to use room temp water and stir quickly and drink immediately. I have noticed improvements for my GI health after only a couple weeks. Use it daily.
Only product that has been beneficial for me. Metamucil and Supergut do not work for me. Sorry to see Walmart deciding not to carry in store. Will have to find a new supplier, sorry to leave Walmart!
I have been using this product for almost 40 years. It is part of my daily regimen. Unlike Metamucil, it contains no psyllium and therefore does not cause gas. My gastroenterologist suggested this to me 40 years ago and I've been using it daily ever since. Walmart has the very best price for it so I've always bought it there.
Citrucel is made of methylcelllulose, which is a soluble plant fiber that is highly beneficial in maintaining good digestive health. The taste is nice (to me it tastes a lot like that orange-flavored powdered drink that used to advertize going into space with the astronauts). Our family likes it.
What’s not to like about a high fiber drink that not only taste good but sugar free as well! Every evening I mix up 3 heaping tablespoons of Citrucel in a large glass of water, it tastes like grown up Tang and makes me feel like John Glenn prepping for the Mercury space launch. When I’m really feeling frisky I add a couple shots of vodka for a guilt free screwdriver. You gotta be careful because one time I had 5 of these before bed, let me tell you something, I didn’t get off the can for about 3 hours; this was worse than prepping for a colonoscopy! Do yourself a favor and follow the instructions and your morning constitutional will be smooth as silk.
I am allergic to stevia. Was a mistake. I wanted regular Splenda i am allergic to this I would not have ordered it. It was a mistake. I could not see all I wanted was Splenda and they all look alike to me. I want regular splendor no Stevia I am allergic to it.
I ordered and paid for the large 32 os size Citricel. I received the smaller 16 oz size I have received no communication from Walmart regarding resolution of this mistake.
I am tired of getting items by shipment when I ordered them by pickup. It is unreliable that I do not know that delivery will be used until after the order is concluded.
