I use this product for my heart. Have been using it for a while. I have high cholesterol, and I can't take statins. This product is very helpful. My Dr. told me to take it.

CoQ10 levels decrease with age (I'm 68). Statins reduce it (I take atorvastatin to reduce bad cholesterol). Meats supply it. While not vegan, my intake of meats as well as meal size have reduce with age. Taken as a preventative, but unsure if Coenzyme Q10 level has increased (blood tests for LDL, lips, A1C, etc) don't seem to measure this, but LDL has reduced. Figure it's an antioxidant that could be beneficial. Will ask the doctor on next visit if any blood tests would show improvement due to CoQ10. If not, I won't continue it.
