After returning 2 other brands because they didn't suit my Mom, I purchased this phone for my 80 year old Mom. She has difficulty hearing and needs a hearing aid. She loved this phone. "It's so nice to be able to hear people talk so clear" she said to me over the phone. I was thinking it is so nice to be able to understand what she was saying. The phone is clear both receiving and transmitting. My Mom has no problem hearing the ringer but I was prepared to purchase a ringer unit I saw for about $12.00. I would recommend this phone if you have an older person who has trouble understanding/hearing conversations on a phone.

I love how this phone has the big buttons, and you have great volume control for it. And also I especially like that you can plug a headset into the 2 mm jack. It's working great for me so far! The buttons light up and make it real easy to dial. I wanted a simple phone, nothing complicated, and this is the perfect phone.

I bought 2 of these phones for my 89 yr. old mother, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. She said she likes the big number display and that she can now hear them ring from either floor of the house as they ring loud and clear. She also mentioned that she can hear people speaking on the other end much better now.

This phone was bought for my 90 year old mom. Great clarity big number pad and is very light to hold. She has arthritis and this phone is accomadating for her hold.

Bought for friend that could not hear her phone ring and had trouble hearing conversations over the phone. They love the new phone and the "Boost" feature for hearing conversations.

I got this for my Mom who is 90. It seems to work well for her. The big dark numbers are easy for her to see. It's fairly simple to use. Thanks.

Very good phone that really does amplify the conversation, and very clear! Love the large illuminated buttons too.

I was looking for a cordless telephone for my 82 year old mother. She needed a telephone that was good with or without her hearing aid and that she could see the buttons without her reading glasses. This telephone fills the needs and does it well. She can see the large buttons and all the buttons are back light, not just the number pad. The volume is adjusted for use with her hearing aid, and she can press the "!" boost button for the times she is not wearing the aid. I do not know if the larger LCD display helps her, she no longer understands how to use the phone book dialing feathers or caller ID. Wish it had a ringer tone that sounded like telephone bells. All the ring options are electronic sounding or music.

Unfortunately this one refused to hold a charge, and had other issues. My mother in law could not use this, so I returned it.
