Superior and simple to use. We purchased this as a replacement for another Cuisinart product, which was still working well and became a hand me down for another family member. We like the larger reservoir, ease of operation and many size options on this model. Really pleased with our decision.
Another fine example of the many quality products made by Cuisinart. I have had several Kuerig coffee makers and have learned to appreciate the convenience of the single serve coffee pod. I was somewhat skeptical about changing brands of coffee makers, but I'm so glad I did. The Cuisinart machine does everything my previous products did, plus a whole lot more. The coffee is tasty, hot and the many size options makes it even more convenient. I'm very satisfied and would recommend this brand.
I have had one of the original Keurig coffee makers and decided it was time to upgrade. So happy with my choice. What I like about my new Cuisinart is I no longer have to wait for water to heat up. Instantly, I am ready to make my coffee. I also appreciate the carbon filter, choice of coffee cup sizes, and can elect to make a really hot cup of coffee.
After years of being disappointed with the "K" brand single serve coffee makers, I am very delighted with the Cuisinart Brand Single serve coffee maker! I've been using it for 2 months and each time I get a wonderful cup of coffee. This little darling has so many cup-size options, from 4 oz to 12 oz, and the "Rinse" option cleans the brewing system when switching between tea, cocoa, or coffee. But I really am impressed with the "Very Hot" brewing option, so that I don't have to nuke a half-full cup before I can enjoy the whole thing! And if you prefer your OWN particular grind instead of "K" cups, there is a nifty storage compartment in the side with a reusable filter cup (that stows away very nicely... no more searching for it!) To be honest, the Cuisinart is not as quiet while brewing as the competition, but all the other excellent qualities and options make that a very insignificant matter. If you are hesitating on whether to make the change from the popular "K" competition brand, hesitate no longer! Take the step and purchase the Cuisinart Single Serve. Its compact size and generous water reservoir give this coffee maker 5 stars from me!
I have used Cuisinart coffee makers for about thirty years and never had a problem . When I finally decided to purchse a single serve brewer this was the only brand I look at. It is easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee. For me, single serve was a difficult decision, but I'm so happy I did it. It's quick, easy, less waste, and no pot to clean. I'm sorry I waited so long to switch.
This is our second brewer. The first one was replaced under their generous warranty after two years, 7 months. The hot water button stopped working. Therefore we couldn't descale, so it died from not descaling. The coffee Brew button would have to be pressed twice for it to work. The warranty process was super easy and I had a new brewer with two weeks
Replaced my Keurig with the new Cuisinart pod coffee maker and have been somewhat disappointed. The water tank doesn't have a handle on it like my Keurig did and at times it is hard to get back on correctly after refilling it. It is also is much louder than my Keurig.
I've only had this for about 4 weeks. It makes good, hot coffee. Doesn't take long. Look nice. The build quality is fair. It could use a better tray insert that doesn't vibrate so much. Also, the insert where the pods go seems to be slightly loose. All-in-all it was a good buy. I also am glad it has the 3year warranty, which is why I chose this over the competitor. I'd give 4 starts if the tray and pod insert where sturdier. Not a bad buy though...so far. It needs to last to know for sure.
Does not feel sturdy when I load a coffee pod. I'm concerned that it might break if too much force is used. The amount of liquid is not consistent. Even though I always use the 8 ounce setting, sometimes the cup is only 60% full, other times the cup gets filled to the brim. This is not what I expected from a well known brand. Very disappointed. Not worth the price that I paid.
This is the third one of these coffee makers that I've had and none of them have the coffee coming out hot! I got rid of the other one thinking there was something wrong with it until I got this one and the same thing happened. I always have it on extra hot, but it comes out warm. Not a very happy customer.
