My five-year-old granddaughter loved this. It is easy for her to operate. She loves the stars and was excited to have them on her ceiling. This makes a good nightlight. It would be better if it used an AC power source. Mom will have to remember to turn it off after she goes to sleep or buy a lot of batteries.

We've bought this 4 months ago for our two year-old. So far it's going great. It has two modes, one that is a projector, and one that has a blue Starfield. We just discovered today that the Starfield actually rotates, which is really neat. So far our toddler has not broken it, but he also isn't one who tends to throw things. So know your own kid. But it was definitely good value for the money, and we bought it knowing that he might break it, but decided it was worth the cost. Our kid really loves things like stars and the moon, and we turn it into a big game to shine the light around the room and have him find it. The projector is pretty weak. The only way you can really get the image to focus is to hold it about 2 to 3 feet away from a blank white surface. But our kid doesn't mind. For our purposes, it's great. For older kids, or if you want the projector to be better quality, it would be worth finding another product that cost more.

This gift is absolutely incredibly beautiful and educational. I am so happy I purchased it as a gift for my next door neighbor Lucia. She's extremely intelligent, cute and curious and just turned eight. She will love it.

I like that this item is very easy to use for children. It's an easy bedroom gift that they'll enjoy from that age for the next couple or many years. And if it still works 6 years down the road, which I'm sure it will, it's easy to pass down to your second child.

This is a requested gift from a child in a gift giving program for Christmas. Other than the given description, I have no usage feedback.

The output of the galaxy images was much smaller than I expected. There isn't a way to enlarge the image. The stars side of the device was very impressive and would light up the ceiling with the image.

It's a little lame but ok for the price. The stars mode is very faint and blurry and only covers a small portion of the ceiling or walls. Same with the planets and constellations. Pictures are very small. The 6 y/o was more impressed than the 9 y/o was. I especially don't care for the warning about not looking directly into the lights. I didn't see this before purchasing it in the app. So, supervision is required with this toy! Because of this safety issue, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR CHILDREN.

it is battery operated, which means we'll go through lots of expensive batteries. in addition, the scenes are small. the stars are the best part, but even that it blurry

I didn't get my order it was in a box with shoes when I opened the box the toy was missing and there was a empty water bottle in it's place. Someone had to take it from the distribution center the shoes wasn't touched. I want it replaced but I haven't seen anything yet.
