Love the adjustability of the charcoal. High end look! Awesome price! People who complain compare it to grills that cost HUNDREDS more?!?!?! Duh!
I bought this grill and assembled it in about 25 minutes. I did a burn off the next day and have grilled on it many times and it is a quality grill and easy to use , I would recommend it to anyone who loves grilling with charcoal as I do
We loved it, the only thing missing is the blower which suppose to come with it.
Easy to put together. Works well.
This grill is great. It is made with quality materials
I found this grill at the Home Depot website. It took only one hour to assemble. Instructions included details how to "season" the grill. With my first use, I was able to prepare an entire dinner for four within a half-hour after the briquettes were ready. The extra thick steaks took 15 minutes per side. It was easy to control the heat for everything to cook perfectly. I bought a cover for storage when not in use.
I did plenty of online research to find the best charcoal grill, and then purchased this one in May to be ready for our summer of grilling and we've been very happy. The clear instructions made assembly easy, took less than 2 hours but best with 2 people. The grill allows several ways to adjust the cook surfaces and the air flow. The side trays are very handy for placing cooking utensils and plates, and the rack at the bottom is great for holding charcoal and a starter. We bought a generic grill cover to protect from water and tree leaves, and the grill still looks like new. (Without a cover, during a major rainstorm, water entered the chimney and left water in the bottom tray.) Highly recommended.
I bought this grill 2 weeks ago and weather final broke , allowing me to use this grill. The first time I cooked were hamburgers and the turned out perfect, much better tasting then my propane grill.I just finished cooking some ribs using the indirect method at 250 degrees , took 5 hours and turned out great.Worked better than I expected and easy to use with the height adjusters for temperature control.
I bought the grill just a week ago, tried it ones. Actually it cooks well. Comparing to my last one, it has pretty thin sides so I think it will not lasts so long as old one and the cooking surface is smoller then the regular one. But as I said it cooks great and meets all my other expectation.
If you cook food that has to be covered up and baked, then this grill is useless. There are so many air leaks on this grill in places like where the hood meets the fire box, the loose side vents and even the chimney, that the temperature can't be controlled. Instead you have to use a small amount of coal and keep feeding in more coals during the whole cooking process to keep the temp. from getting too high. Also, there is no rotisserie that will fit on this grill, including the so called universal rotisseries. If all you do is cook hamburgers & brats, the height adjustable charcoal tray works great.
