I have had issues with my sciatica neve for the past 7 years. Stretching has helped but lately I have been in more pain. Sleeping was the worst, I would toss and turn to get comfortable. Getting out of bed required the use of a chair to stabilize and support myself. Painful sounds would escape from my mouth when doing this or trying to bend down. This brace has helped a lot. I only wear it at night. It's not bulky so I don't know it's there, I am able to sleep all night and turn over without the sharp pain. Getting out of bed is much easier, too. Since I don't wear it during the day', I can't give an opnion about that. All of them say one size fits all, however, if you have extra weight, you know one size does not fit all. Look at the information provided, the cheaper ones are smaller in the waist and thigh areas. Being 100 pounds overweight while standing to wrap this around my leg is difficult. Try putting it on the bed and lie down to strap it to you, and then readjust the straps when you stand. If it can be avoided don't wear loose fitting bottoms. Worst thing about this, you always have to redo it when you go to the restroom. Other than that' I like it. It won't cure me, but it has helped to ease my pain and I do feel better.
