This rake was one of the best reviewed and at $16.74 you can't get a better price. The value of this quality rake is unbelievable and it comes with a lifetime warranty in case anything breaks. My only complaint is that one of the rakes was missing the orange rubber grip at the top of the handle but this wasn't a big deal.
I purchased the Ames True Temper Collector 26" Leaf Rake of similar design, though the head of that rake is a lot larger.. but the weight of the Ames rake left my arms sore after a short time.. sure it can pick up a lot of debri but what's the point if it hurts to use it? and i'm not trying to impress anyone with the size of my rake while I do the lawn... So I purchased the Fiskars rake and the weight is a lot lighter, yet seems built just as strong.. has a specially designed pole that gives it added strength.. it's just much more pleasant to use this rake.. not sure how long it will last, but there is a lifetime guarantee on it.. so if it ever breaks, they replace it.. can't beat that.. and at least for now I'm not sore raking anymore.
We live on an acre with dozens of mature hardwood trees. When the leaves come down, it's enough to bury the yard. We played with this rake in the wooded section in the back to see how it worked. Lightweight, metal handle with grip, handle shaped for the hand, strong tines, curved tines causes leaves to stay in a bundle resulting in less scattering. Worth the effort to get this rake. Excellent value.
I purchased this as a replacement for one exactly like it that broke after I put too pressure on the plastic head trying to move a huge pile of leaves. I won't make that mistake again! I bought two other brands of plastic rakes locally but they were just OK. Wore out my arms just a few minutes. So I had to get a replacement . This rake is superior. I have half an acre with a lot of trees and this rake does the job without wearing me out. No stores in my area carried it so I was thrilled that I could buy online through Wal-Mart with free shipping.
The rake reaches down into the yard and pull out the leaves and gum balls with little effort. There's a reason this rake is sold internationally. Buy it, you won't regret it.
The Fiskars Leaf Rake is the absolute Best leaf rake that you will ever buy. Guaranteed lifetime warranty, easy use to rake leaves that you will ever use. Highly recommend!!
Best rake ever...I own 2 because my husband and I would fight over who got the good rake...longer reach , very light, and is easy on your body
This is a great ergonomic rake - light weight and does a great job! Had one for years and bought another one for cottage!!!!
This rake is thin plastic blades. it was shipped with only Saran wrap so it arrived with bent blades see pics. i need rake to rake up big dried up weeds with some dirt on them. This will not do. Handle is hollow.
I bought this rake based on the positive reviews but when i used it it just felt really awkward and did not move the leaves efficiently... i ended up using my traditional rake to finish the job. The positive side it is a sturdy... just awkward.
