Fiskars Long Handled Swivel Grass Shears

I got this only because of the long handle which does make yard work easier and I don't have to bend down to trim sidewalk/foundation edges. I also use it to first cut the big leaves off of well established weeds like dandelions and then followup with a standing weed puller. It is by no means perfect but I'm not doing this everyday or anything. It's just to tidy things up a bit until the lawn man can mow and do a proper trimming. I think it's a good product to have if you don't want to be bending down to hand trim.

This is just what I had been looking for & it works just as I'd hoped- no bending over to trim grass between bricks , etc A nice feature that I don't think similar trimmers have is that the blades can be adjusted so they are flat, or turned at an angle.

This product really helped with the not leaning over aches and pains which is why I purchased it. Just like hand shears but with a longer handle. Gets some getting used to and you do use your hand differently so don't over do it on first job using. Also easier to use than the weedeater - and less noise - just clip clip.

The long handle grass shears performed very easily, were very sharp and light enough to use with one hand and arm.

I've been looking for this to save my back! Trimmed up my overgrown plants without having to bend over.

Product is quiet as opposed to gas or electric weed trimmers. Product doesn't do damage to objects like gas or electric weed trimmers might do. Product does as advertised.

This works great for small areas such as a city lot. We have quite a large lot so it was time consuming but works well. I cannot lift the gas trimmer my husband uses, so this is a great alternative that is light weight.

I expected a better product from Fiskars. The handle is long enough but the plastic up top does not feel like what the Fiskars company quality used to be. The blades are just sharp enough to cut grass but they don't cut as easily as a great quality hand shear. It seems like the blades aren't close enough together and I pulled more grass out trying to cut then simply cutting the grass. Sadly Fiskars seems to be going the way of many other companies. I would have paid more for quality.

Doesn't have enough cutting power to trim the tendrils on St Augustine grass. Good at clipping just the grass blades. Doesn't meet my needs.

It works good but my hands get tired squeezing the handle. The quality seems good though. Good for small areas.
