with the project, there is nothing better then Flex Seal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I anticipate there will be all sorts of jobs where Flex Seal will come in very handy, but I just finished an essential repair to my roof where I was experiencing a small leak. The spray can is convenient to use and it is amazing how quickly it transforms from a liquid into a rubber capable of plugging holes and crevices. I have to say there is a strong odor associated with the liquid rubber, and I find it essential to wear a mask when using it. The roof leak that I tackled required several applications, but luckily the weather held for this process. I made sure each application was thoroughly dry by waiting 48 hours before applying the next coat. So far, the repair has held and saved me from having to undertake an expensive roof repair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having seen the commercials for FlexSeal and honestly being skeptical I decided to try a spray can and see if it really worked. We have a plastic tub outside that we use for a fountain that had a small crack in it. One application of FlexSeal and it worked it's way into the crack and it no longer is visible and no longer leaks. It seems to be holding well and hopefully will last for a long time to come!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy I got this. I have used it in the cracks and crannies of my house. I had air coming in and it sealed it up and I don't feel the air anymore. I recommend this to everyone I know. This is such a good product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed how easy it was to apply the Flex Seal. The spray on coating sealed and stopped a leak on a gutter downspout in no time at all. Just clean, dry area and spray! I am happy with the results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my sample of Flex Seal Black in the mail I bought a can of black Flex Seal a month ago and I love it works great on stuff I put on PVC pipes and flower pots and works on top of a trailer if you got a leak and i will be buying some more
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This past summer my favorite cooler had gotten cracked. I have had this cooler forever and couldn't part with it. I figured this would be a good project for the Flex Seal. I did have to use more than two coats because the crack was very large. Flex Seal is extremely easy to use and has a nice, even spray. After a couple of coats, I could see the crack had been filled and I needed to have it dry. It's extremely cold here right now so I have no use for my cooler at this moment but I still wanted to see how this product can hold up. I filled the cooler up with ice and left it over night. No leaking of any kind! I was very impressed. This summer I plan on using my cooler often and I feel like this product will get my cooler through another year. The only reason why I am giving this product one less star is because I feel I had to do more than two coats. On the bottle it suggests two but I felt it needed several more. This was a smaller crack and maybe the way it was angled left me needling to add more so it could be different for every project. The best part about Flex Seal is that it's a great price and easy to use. They've made this product consumer friendly. I do strongly suggest using outside because there is a strong odor. The smell does not linger and goes away quickly but it's best done outside. I have a few projects around my home that I would also like to use Flex Seal on. It's great that there are different colors! Overall, I was very impressed and plan on using on several other project around the house. Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to seal a washing machine bucket after some repairs. The product works extremely well. It has great coverage once the 48 hour curing process was done. It is definitely easy to use, just point and spray. After using my washing machine multiple times after spraying, the bucket did not leak. The drawbacks were small but noteworthy. One example was the smell was very pungent. I would definitely need to use a mask next time and use it in a well ventilated area. Also I needed to apply multiple coats for complete coverage, which is kind of annoying since the only way to tell whether the seal is working or not is seeing if light or liquid is seeping through. Overall it is a great product for outside projects and tasks, but it packs a smell that will have you reeling if you are not in a well ventilated area.
I've used flex seal before it's good stuff but I thought this was an 8 oz can. 2 oz for $10 nope
I received old product that seemed to be laying around in a warehouse somewhere. I ordered several colors and all of the colors were old. Some had damaged lids. I was very unhappy with my purchase. The colors did not seem vibrant when I attempted to use them. I shook the cans for about 15 minutes at some point and still had the same result. Very disappointed.
