Fluidmaster® 5403P4 Universal Water Saving Long Life 3" Toilet Flapper

Excellent product. Even though I had trouble unhooking my previous toilet flapper, this was an easy install. I was able to adjust the flush to my liking, the seal is perfect, and I can say for certain that this flapper works way better than my previous one. Definitely recommend!

Everything about this was very good. It stopped the excess use of water draining from the toilet tank. The only thing I didn't like about it is that once you put it on it clicks into place and getting it off is not very easy. It is more expensive than the other flappers, but it seems to be an item that will last quite a bit longer than the others.

This was a replacement toilet flapper. I would suggest that anyone replacing this make sure you select the correct size toilet flapper. I didn't realize they come in various sizes, but I found the correct one for my toilet.

It's so nice, I gave it 5 stars in spite of the quirk in my toilet I hadn't realized. Mansfield has a model toilet that requires its own brand special flapper that isn't near as good as this one and doesn't last as long and costs the same. What a disappointment! But I adjusted this one beyond it's "universal"ness, and it still works great. Got the Mansfield replacement flapper for this toilet only (the arms where the flapper attaches are sized differently on each side, one side much larger), but this one I was able to get to work anyway, and this one is made to last.

I needed to replace all my Toilet Flapper and they are all different so Wal Mart saved the day by having every flapper I needed at a great price with quick delivery. The Fluidmaster 5403P4 Adjustable Water-Saving Long Life 3 inch Toilet Flapper was exactly what I was looking for as I like the brand.

The flapper valve on my Toto toilet began leaking after about 6 years of use. The problem was caused by reduced rigidity of the rubber flapper valve. The Fluidmaster 5403 addresses this design issue by using a rigid plastic structure and a flexible gasket for more positive sealing. The adjustable attaching arms assure that the valve remains centered. The adjustable float allows you to regulate the amount of water used for flushing. This valve is a little more costly, however, it successfully solves a number of issues.

Just as expected from description and easy to install. Works perfectly!

Does what it is supposed to without a lot of fanfare or fuss. Fit all of our 3" flush valve seats without any problems. These last much longer than the all-rubber types. Ease-of-use and peace of mind are worth the slightly higher cost.
