Works fast, seems to be quieter than some are writing about. I like the LED light that illuminates the ice bin when it's pulled out to access. Filling the water reservoir has the option of pulling it out partway to fill, or pull it all the way out and take to the sink to fill. Pretty happy, so far.

It's made really cheap. I was so disappointed with how long it actually took to make ice. The ice was super watery. It couldn't even be put in the freezer after being made to save for later because it was so watery it just froze into one big block. There is definitely not the option to make the ice and consume within the same half hour or really even hour. It took 1 hr to make. I'm not sure why Frigidaire would even think this is good enough to sell honestly. I will be returning unfortunately.

I bought one of these last year as a Christmas gift for my parents on 12/24/24. It started off great-we really enjoyed the nugget ice. However, starting in August, the machine started making a grinding/screeching noise that progressively got worse, so I bought a second one on October 10th for my parents to use while I worked through troubleshooting the issue. I went through the cleaning process from the instructions, but it did not fix the issue, so I started the warranty process. They emailed me a case number where I had to attach pictures, the invoice, and a video of the issue. Their response was that I needed to pay to ship the actual ice machine to a warehouse in CA. In the meantime, the new machine I just bought in October has started making the same grinding/screeching noise (it is now the end of November). Based on this experience, I would NOT recommend purchasing this machine. It does not appear to be durable, and the warranty process is not customer-friendly. (I wish Walmart would allow video clips in their reviews. This thing sounds awful!)

Honestly your better off buying an expensive refrigerator with this option than this piece of crap. We have been through not one but 2 of these in 2 years and I’m honestly over the poor quality. Every g breaks off on it and the lights don’t last for shot, they stop working after a few months and now our second one is making g a horrible fringing noise! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON FRIGIDARE!

I have had this for less than 2 weeks and it stopped making ice. It started making a loud noise last night. Water will cycle through but it doesn’t make ice. Tried troubleshooting and that didn’t work. Customer service goes through Curtis Enterprises and they weren’t able to help because it was still in the return window, Walmart wasn’t able to exchange for another ice maker, the extended warranty won’t do anything because it is still under manufactures warranty. It was a huge run around and a waste if half a day I definitely do not recommend this piece of junk to anyone.

Worked great for about 7 months and then died. Contacted manufacturer and was told to deal with a different corporation. Making us "jump through hoops." All kinds of photos sent. Video sent. Now they want us to pay to send the item to them. No support whatsoever from the manufacturer or walmart.

it decided after 6 months not to work i called Walmart and the company who sent the product . It turns out that they had sent me the wrong one. The packaging had no information on it. I thought it was what i ordered. So the company who sent it via Walmart will not honor their one year policy. I bought the insurance through Walmart and they will not do anything because product is under a year. So i am out 200.00 buck and i did dispute it with the bank. They denied it because Walmart did get it back within their 90 days. Not happy i just wanted an ice machine that works. be careful out there when buying from them.

This ice machine was great in the begging but after about 6 months it completely stopped working. Now the ice produces is like slush and leaks EVERYWHERE. The noise wasn’t terrible until close to the end where it would make very loud, almost concerning noises. For the price I do not recommend

First of all, it's not nugget ice they're little squares that are hard and crunchy, not soft and chewable.. Second of all, the container that holds the ice is made out of PLASTIC... so the ice melts extremely fast if you don't use it right away. And third, when you have to drain the water from the ice melting, you have to pull the machine halfway off the counter, hold a bowl under it, pull a plug, and let it drain that way making it extremely inconvenient. I definitely would NOT recommend.

It's been 6 months and the lights on the display are going out and some times it works and some times it doesn't and it holds very little water so you are constantly putting water in it for the little bit of ice it's making
