I think this will be my favorite sprinkler. The adjustable nozzle allow for large or small areas which means not a lot of water wasted . The color is nice it won't get lost in deep green grass. It's not heavy easy to move around. The mechanical functions seems to hold up and the hard plastic didn't Crack as I sometimes dragged it across the yard. I would recommend this to family and friends

The Gilmour 4000 Sq Ft Medium Duty Rectangular Sprinkler has been a game changer when it comes to watering our lawn. We don't use it much right now since it's still winter and we have had plenty wet weather but we tried it out and it works great. It has a very wide reach. I love the design and it seems very durable. Perfect for spring and summer!

Not only is it perfect for watering my backyard with complete ease, but this is going to be absolutely perfect for summertime to cool off and run through when temperatures inevitably reach triple digits. Living in the desert it is extremely dry and hot this makes watering a breeze. Having several different features for different watering styles and capabilities, this device is extremely versatile, and you can switch the directions with the switch of a button.

I received this rectangular sprinkler from Gilmour for free in exchange for this review. It took me a while to figure out how to operate and finally managed to understand after watching videos. It's a smart design and made solid but may need to purchase a few more or move the sprinkler multiple times to cover the lawn.

This thing is awesome! So glad I have an easy solution to not having in ground lawn sprinklers, with the Glimour hose attachment I can easily reach all parts of my lawn far and wide. It is stable and not whipping around once the water turns on, and also has multiple settings to adjust the width of the spray, the length, and the flow strength.

The sprinkler has a wide textured grip that made it easy to screw onto the hose. The blue round knob allows you to easily adjust the direction of the water. By pinching both sides to the center you get an even distribution. If you need it to face a specific direction you can extend out the knob in the direction you want the water to spray. You also have the ability to adjust how narrow or wide you want the water's cone to be. Overall the sprinkler is very user intuitive. The only negative is that it holds water. It takes a second to drain it out once you stop using it due to the volume of the tube.

It's cold season but I can't wait to use this sprinkler. I've never seen one that's width adjustable. That's huge because the way my lawn is, it's long and narrow. The settings on the sprinkler allow for a narrow spray and I think that is cool. Also love the color, it matches my yard theme :)

So I love a lot about this sprinkler. I love that it allows for so much width and direction adjustment to really allow you to water only what you're trying to water. I love the non-slip texture on the plastic piece where you screw the hose on. I love that it stays very stable during operation, unlike my last sprinkler that would flip over if there was too much water pressure. I actually like that it's plastic because I live somewhere humid where metal rusts very quickly if left outside. Something I don't like about it is I can't figure out how to use the lever to turn off the water at the sprinkler. It was stuck in the ‘on' position. I checked the website but couldn't find any answer about how to fix that. The main thing that bummed me out was it didn't seem to cover 4000 square feet like it said it would. My yard is 4800 square feet and I would say it only covered about a a third of the yard. It's still a huge upgrade to my previous sprinkler and it'll definitely make my life easier when it comes time to re-seed my lawn, but still a bit of a let down that it doesn't cover as much it claims to. Overall, still happy with it.

Thankyou @influenster for sending me this product. I have been using this sprinkler for my medium sized lawn and it does a decent job overall. The coverage is pretty good and it spreads water evenly when its set up right. Its easy to adjust the pattern and it oscillates smoothly most of the time. That said the main downside is that its all plastic construction. It feels kind of cheap and lightweight and after a couple of uses I already noticed some cracks starting on the base from normal wear. I dont expect it to last more than a season or two which is disappointing for the price. Its okay for basic watering needs if you dont mind replacing it eventually but I wouldnt call it a great long term investment. Two stars from me.
