We removed our thermostats and replaced it with the new Google thermostat. We were hoping for this to be much smaller than it is. It looks pretty bulky.. It’s significantly larger than the thermostat itself. The thermostat actually covered the hole from the previous thermostat that we had that came from the builder. If you have a large hole to cover from your previous thermostat, then it’s probably a good idea. We did not have a large hole to cover.
