I purchased a single grilled cheese maker and after maybe 15 uses the cheese stock so badly I could not remove it so I threw it away and ordered this one which said it was nonstick and also it makes two sandwiches instead of one. So far no problems. I love it. But the single one I bought cooked the sandwiches and then the light would go out so you knew they were done. On this one a lot of the times they are a little overcooked because there is no way to know when they are done.

plastic shell on top cracked in the exact same place on both sides when pressing the very first sandwiche. not thick just normal grilled cheese. clearly a design flaw. still cooks fine but it was a present for my 8 year old so we could cook together so disappointed that his first use had this negative aspect to it.

The sandwich maker works well, but it is quite difficult to clean. Food residue tends to stick to the surface and is hard to remove without risking damage. Unfortunately, the non-stick coating does not seem to be very effective.

The sandwich press exploded in pieces when I tried to press a sandwich with it! The sandwich was not even thick!!! it was literally 2 pieces of bread, 2 cheese slices and 1 ham slice! How can a product suck so hard at its literal only function??? YOU HAD ONE JOB!!!

Item broke on first use. This was using just plain white bread and cheese to try it out. The tip piece cracked immediately upon closing. Poor quality item

The item is nice looking and non-stick surface works well. Out of the box it feels flimsy, but could be a OK item for the price. Unfortunately the plastic used in product is extremely cheap and fragile. I'm not overstating this - the top part broke on the 1st use. And it was not over-stuffed at all - just 2 pieces of bread with a slice of cheese in-between. Plastic broke before I even finished closing. It is still operational, but does not inspire confidence in the quality and longevity of the product. I should have read other reviews before buying - many others reported same type of quality issues.

Ive only used this press once. I was making two sandwiches at the same time and while pressing down to latch the top, the putter plastic lid cracked in two places. The sandwiches werent over stuffed 1 slice of cheese, two slices of deli meat. Im so disappointed

Plastic cover broke in first month

The plastic casing broke in 2 places upon first use of the grill. The copper plates are easy to clean following the user manual, however, the copper plates cannot be removed easily to clean anything that spills over the sides. Returned the item.
