Great Value Chicken Seasoned Coating Mix, 4.5 oz

This is my goto seasoning and coating mix. I use it for chicken, game hen and fish. Sometimes, I add it to Krusteaz Honey Cornbread mix for texture and seasoning in a sweet coating mix. I stopped buying the more expensive coating mix years ago. I do not fry food. Instead, I finish the coated food with a very light spritz of olive oil. This mix works beautifully in the oven, toaster oven, microwave or airfryer. The coating adheres well to moistened meat. The last line of the instructions is an important tip. You do not need to turn over the chicken or fish. It comes out perfect both top and bottom with the coating intact.

Great product maybe can use a little more flavor so you could cheat and add some of your own flour or breadcrumbs or cornmeal or corn flour that's the way I really save money by blending in other things that Ins has so much flavor. You can definitely use a third of it and put in 2/3 of any other thing and have a great product and then it's really inexpensive.

this coating mix is the best. I love fried chicken but cannot eat the oil fried foods. this is the next best way to eat fried chicken. so easy to cost chicken I just put mixture into zip lock bag put chicken inside bag shake the bag chicken is coated beautiful. I use air fryer to cook. chicken comes out amazing. taste really good. I like the light seasoning of this mixture there isn't any spice exactly what I want. price is good for packets inside box. I am purchasing it again today. I have item stored into my "list" on my app it will be a repeat.

I ordered extra crispy chicken and I got most my order as the regular chicken product They substituted my order with a majority of non extra crispy. I only wanted the extra crispy. Wish they had kept their shelves stocked so I could get what I ordered in my order Otherwise everything is good, I'm sure I will use the regular crisp product, but it was disappointing they didn't fill my order completely

I can actually say that I like this so much better than Shake n Bake. Not just for the price, but for the taste. It just has a better flavor than the more expensive brand.

I like the Great Value Chicken coating mix, but i prefer the Extra Crispy. Far better value than Shake abd Bake which i think is ridiculously expensive.

Taste great and season is prefect. Way better and more value than any other brand. Our family go to for sure.

This stastes just like Shake-n-bake. The best thing- it comes with the plastic bags. Shake-n-Bzke does not.

We were really disappointed with this coating mix. When opened it was orange in color so I thought it was BBQ, but the box did not say anythng. The flavor that was there was indescribeable and not too appealing. Save your $$ on this private brand and spring for Shake %26 Bake!
