These are pretty cheap for pecans. I am a price checker - this is a good deal. The baking pecans are even cheaper, but I do not like them that small. These are delicious in salad, cottage cheese, oatmeal, on chicken salad wraps with cranberries, banana bread, and just to snack on! They are a great healthy protein. I literally eat pecans every day. These are crunchy and fresh. They are not covered in oil or anything. Just plain chopped pecans. They come in this handy resealable bag, but I am not really good at resealable bags so I put them in a jar.

They are very fresh tasting. Certainly good enough for a snack. Mine were used in a cake recipe. Delicious. The ingredient that definitely makes the cake standout

I love pecans %26 walnuts - to mix with other nuts, seeds or to layer on a big salad for dinner. it's much easier to use pieces rather than breaking each full pecan I to pieces. also, pieces seem like a lot more than whole ones.

I recommend with reservations. I purchased this item 9/28/25 and opened the package to use for baking in mid-November. I found the nuts were not fresh, just on the edge of being rancid. I was disappointed with this purchase. However, I purchased again a week ago, have not opened this second package, so not entirely sure what I will find...hopefully there will be no issues with the 2nd purchase.

They're supposed to be chopped but they're just basically broken in half so they're very large pieces. This is an appropriate for some things and so you have to break them up yourself. It used to not be like this with this brand of pecans

The picture of this item says it contains approximately 4 cups, but the actual bag when I had it delivered say it hold approximately 3 3/4 cups. I understand they may have just changed the packaging, but the picture should have been updated immediately. I need 4 cups, not 3 3/4 cups for the baking I have to do, so now I have to have another delivery which means another $5 tip for the driver, when I would have just bought more in the first place if I’d known I wasn’t going to get 4 cups.

Pecans taste old. I didn’t return them since they are not expired. The taste is still awful. I won’t buy these again.

Stale. I was in a rush to make banana bread and did not taste pecans before hand. Got home from Walmart and just started baking. Very little taste and stale. Last fall could have sworn I stocked up on Georgia Pecans but could not find so decided to try GV. Big mistake, wasted all those ingredients.

We had these delivered with an order on December 10th. My wife opened them tonight (December 22) and made a pecan pie. It was obvious that these pecans were old and stale. So after using Karo, sugar and pecans, none of which are cheap, the pie went into the trash. I’ll be looking for a refund.
