Yummy addition

Laurie May 8, 2026

Yes to more spice! I started ordering the jalapeno chicken prepared meal from Walmart and got addicted. The quantity of the jalapeños in each dinner varied. So I solved that issue and just add as many as I want. I've added these in the meal and microwaved as well as after the meal comes out. Either way I'm pleased with having the jar to add how ever many more I want. Put it in the fridge so I'm hoping the shelf life is long, but the jar will probably be all gone by then to even worry about it.

Hot But Not Too Hot

Ed December 6, 2025

I like the ones in the jar because they mellow in the jar and don't have the sting of the raw ones. You can put em on all kinds of stuff like nachos or chili dogs or you can even put em on frozen pizza before or even after it goes in the oven. They're wet when they come out the jar so you might have to drain them in some paper towels before you use em. Oh yeah, they mince up real nice like this one time I made my world famous chicken tortilla soup and put about a teaspoon's worth in there and it was perfect. I'm just kiddin about the world famous part although Willa calls it that

Jalapeno Peppers

Tyheisha November 10, 2025

The shelf life of the jalapeno peppers were about two months. The peppers were used within that period of time. The jalapeno peppers were mild in taste. Also, the jalapeno peppers were tangy too. The peppers come in a cylinder glass jar that is fragile. I was able to use some of the peppers reseal the jar and placed the jar in the refrigerator. I used the jalapeno peppers to snack on with nacho cheese potato chips and melted cheddar cheese dip. It was good. The peppers added the extra spiciness that I needed to enjoy my snack. I would buy the jalapeno peppers again for tacos that have tomatoes as a topping. I would used the peppers on Italian sandwiches. I would have a tab of these peppers if I could on Walmart to continue to make movie-style nachos. Thank you, Walmart.

These pre-sliced jalapeños are super convenient when I'm in a hurry and don't want to slice fresh jalapeños. I can make a small, quick salad, or make a sandwich easily and quickly. Their flavor is the best among all the brands I've tried. I would give them a 5 on a 1-5 scale.

Good quality for queso dip

Daniel February 26, 2026

These jalapeño slices are the right amount of spicy that fades over 15 minutes. 1lb White American cheese, chop half this jar, add about a tsp of cumin, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, about a ounce of the jalapeño juice. Zap for a minute and stir. Repeat until the queso is smooth as possible. Add about a half cup of milk to one of the last times it gets zapped (microwaved on highest power). Hope you enjoy it as much as the fellas did at the party.

Everyone needs a jar in the fridge!

Stephanie June 9, 2026

Buy this today. You will discover it's just as good as name brand, and it has a million uses! This is the 12 oz. size, so the jar is perfect for the fridge door (mine stays packed), and I use the juice in stews, I love the jalapenos on pizza and in sandwiches and cooked with pulled pork barbeque sandwiches for holidays, and just everything you can possibly imagine. Wraps, subway sandwiches, salads, tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad. If you like a little kick, you're going to love this. Everyone needs a jar in the fridge!

. Hot like I like it ,Jalapenos

Anonymous November 29, 2025

I did not realize that these were hot. The seeds were still inside of these jalapenos. I put the jalapenos in my eggs, pizza, and on my Sandwiches. Jalapenos are good by themselves But I'm sure you could add it to something like tomatoes or stews Or Burritos etc. If you don't like a lot of spice these ones are not for you.

It said hot, but not hot at all

yuni January 6, 2026

I bought this many times. On the label, it said hot but I often wondered how hot it is compared to regular one. I taste no difference. For me, It is not hot at all. Also often found the bottom part of peppers together with the stems, which could not be eaten. I opted yes to recommend, so people can decide themselves if they like it or not.

Tastes good and the price is right!

Jean December 16, 2025

Tastes good and the price is right! The texture and heat however are lacking. They are quite soft which is good for some things like on a tuna sandwich or on pizza but a little crunch is more pleasant and these have very little heat. I add the liquid to stuff to add a little bite to stuff as well.

Aldi Garden Sliced Jalapenos tastes much better.

LongtimeWMTCustomer March 14, 2026

I bought these from Walmart after loving Aldi's Tuscan Garden sliced Jalapenos. The Walmart brand was so bitter. The Aldi's bottled sliced Jalapeno's have a little bit of a sweet, pickled taste, so they are incredible on taco, tostados, nachos %26 basically anything that needs a hot, very slightly sweet taste. The Walmart brand is just "bitter," and doesn't make our meals better. I don't know why there'd be so much difference in taste, but I'll buy the Aldi bottled version from here on.
