Great Value Organic Ground Turmeric, 1.8 oz

I came into the store approximately two weeks ago and there was Great Value Turmeric on the shelf. Needless to say I was quite disappointed. Two weeks later I came back and found it had been restocked. Again, this week I came in to purchase it and there was none on the shelf, but I managed to find a different brand ,

I grew up eating Fresh BlackEyed peas in Houston,Texas and these are very good! On top I include tomato relish and onions! I buy Walmart cornbread mix and serve with the black eyed peas! Wow a quick fix !

Such a great product. I use it in so many ways. It's hard to count. It just pairs with so many day to day products that I use .Like crystallized ginger to make a great tea or in my chicken curry, etc.

Organic, no additives and arrived without damage. I am still experimenting with the flavor, mostly in stir fry dishes. Very smooth grind, no coarseness

This is so good for you. I had mouth problems because of acid reflux. Started using this tea once a day and it helped my mouth. I mixed it with a tangerine tea bag.

I have purchased this brand numerous times and the quality is i have purchased this brand numerous times and the quality is good.

cooking with this has been great use it everyday in my water and in other things in my house hold the jar is a perfect size too .

So I just looked into the difference in the GV brand vs others and found they are similar but there are some significant differences in color and potency of various brands. This one adds a solid flavor and color but others are said to be darker orange and more potent. I couldn't tell you the difference as they are about the same to me just much cheaper.

Good choice for less expensive yet organic herbs, however with this being the store brand I do have to question whether it's truly organic and truly pure Turmeric 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have watched videos about how some Great Value items can be inferior to other verified brands and it is concerning whether or not artificial coloring is added to this brand of turmeric because it's brightly colored

The turmeric is caked and I can't break it up. This makes it hard to use. Very little will shake out.
