Great Value Table Ground Black Pepper, 18 oz

What's not to like? It's easier to eat than a muffin - except for how crumbly it is. I read the ingredients and for the most part they're better than some so-called ‘bakery made' I could taste the chocolate chips, and the rest ate like a soft cookie.

An acceptable substitute for a 16 mesh pepper if you can't get it. Always fresh because WalMart turns over their stock quickly. I use this on all my smoked meats. Builds a good bark. If you're going to be storing it long, put it in an airtight container or bag, especially if in a humid environment.

I like how its thick ground. The bottle that it comes in is very handy to use. You can use it straight from its plastic container. I also believe its a reasonable price and goes a long way.

we use a lot of black pepper and like it says it is a great value.close to grinding your own.now this actually taste like pepper and has a little bite to it.not like tasteless powder you put in a table shaker.

good pepper I just wish it was easier to tell which one is the fine grind . i can't seem to get anything but they stone ground course

These are the best snack, a lot of protein too. Great to travel with, take them in car, throw some in purse, these are so good!!

An even coarser “restaurant grind” instead of the fine almost dust of cheaper tins and cylinders. Good flavor and it bites like good pepper should. I refill a smaller tin with a plastic top, and had to ream out the sprinkle holes to allow this pepper to come out. The grind also makes for an appealing appearance when dressing your pasta, soup, or gravy. This is average to above for “heat” and “bite for black ground pepper. Fairly good value for price, it is quite a bit of product, so if you don't use much black pepper in your cooking and eating, it might get old. Pictures show a quarter against the side of the container and the bottom of the container. Note that there isn't a bunch of fine dust-like material at the bottom. Good quality and even particles. Five forks of five forks rating.

Wanted a large container because I go through seasoning pretty quickly in my house. Well I purchased this because this was the only large black pepper option I could find. I'm not a fan of the big pepper I like the fine ones. Won't buy this again. I guess I'll have to just get multiple of the smaller ones.
