Great Value Thai Style Red Curry Sauce, 13.5 oz

Not traditional thai curry, but if cooked with appropriate vegetable(onions ginger chillies sauteed , peppers, zucchini, broccoli, baby corn) and coconut milk.Tastes great.

This is the best curry sauce that Walmart used to carry. Was is authentic? Probably not. Delicious? Absolutely. Not sure if it is a shortage issue or what but I am so bummed we can't seem to find it anymore :( please bring it back!

I add sour cream to lessen the kick a bit, you can also add plain yogurt too. It goes great with rice, chicken, peas

Best Red Curry sauce in Walmart. perfectly sweet, spicy and banging with flavor!

This is a basic simmer sauce with a broad appeal. I have brought this to pot luck parties several times and it gets good reviews from my friends. It has a slightly sweet taste. I think it is probably too basic for those who are connoisseurs of Thai food, but great for a wider audience. It's great with rice, chicken, red potatoes, water chestnuts, and peanuts.

A good sauce but pricey for what you get. Could have made it much cheaper. Guess I'm getting lazy.

I should have listened to the reviews, but I was intrigued when I saw this at the store. I bought 2 bottles and I didn't notice until I poured them into the pan that they were two different colors. One was more red and one was more yellow. Thought that was weird. It smelled ok, but it tasted WAY too sweet. This shouldn't be that sweet. It's almost syrupy. I had to add a lot of fish sauce and tamari and peppers to try to bring the sweetness down but it was still so sugary. Won't purchase again and I don't recommend it.

I don't understand how they get away with this one. I've made an eaten red curry for years and this is so not it. Firstly the sauce is too watery. I decided to taste it and I'm glad I did before pouring it into the pot. It tastes like chemicals with a hint of curry. I dumped the whole thing. The people that are liking this clearly haven't had curry. Avoid at all costs.

Not an accurate representation of Thai red curry sauce AT ALL. it is too sweet. WAY too sweet. Ketchup sweet, not hoisin. and the attempt at lemongrass is aggressively noted. It is also very thin and watery.
