Hamilton Beach 10-Cup Programmable Drip Coffee Maker Machine, Dispensing Coffee Pot, Cafetera, Black

At first my husband did not like the idea of a brew station, he wanted a coffee pot. Well 10 years later and on his third brew station, this is the only coffee maker he wants. He likes the idea of just hold the cup under the spout and he has hot coffee. The brew station keeps the coffee hot and fresh tasting even hours later and no burned taste. Set up is great and so easy, my husband does it himself!

Love the small footprint on my counter! Also love how quiet this is!! Wow, compared to other "forced- water-thru-pod" coffee makers (which I understand that's how they work), this is so nice to set the timer and coffee be made in the morning without waking up family or company!! I've always had the brewstation in the 12 cup version - but decided to "down-size" to the 10 cup and very happy with it. I had my 12 cup for 9 years, so that's why I'm staying with Hamilton Beach. I don't entertain as much, so this size is fine. Makes good coffee and keeps it warm! (wish it were longer than 2 hours - but that's what microwaves are for - right).

I purchased 3 different coffee makers and returned them all as i was not satisfied. Finally found this one which i just love. It is simple, quiet, easy to use and no carafe to deal with. It keeps my coffee piping hot. Only rnegative would be that it is the slowest coffee maker i have ever tried. It does take quite awhile to brew it but not a big deal especially since you can program ahead of time. I highly recommend.

Coffee doesn't taste that great.

Have had one for 10 years worked perfect but started to leak due to broken part new one leaks right out of box

I bought 2 of these Brew Stations, (1) 10 cup & (1) 12 cup, about 4 years ago. They are still in great working condition. I recently bought (2) 10 cup Brew Stations for my offices and I was so disappointed in how much cheaper the quality of this product. They are now made of light plastic and even the little plate in the front is cheap pastic. My older ones are made of heavy plastic and have a metal plate in front. I love the style, but now unsure how long these new ones will last. It seems like the " throw away" world is live and well with this cheaper made product. Hamilton Beach has a great design and product......so why go cheap!!!!

THIS IS THE 3rd BREW STATION I HAVE BOUGHT. THE FIRST 2 WERE 12 CUP MODELS, BUT WE ONLY MADE 10 CUPS. I DECIDED TO SAVE THE $14.00 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 12 & 10 CUP MODELS. BIG MISTAKE. I MISS NOT HAVING THE BACKLIGHT DISPLAY. MY LAST 2 POTS LEAKED COFFEE AT THE DISPENCING HOLE. AFTER 2 DAYS I FOUND A PUDDLE OF WATER UNDER THIS NEW UNIT. I DETERMINED THAT THE 10 CUP MARK ON THE FILLING POT WAS TOO MUCH FOR THE WATER RESERVIOR IN THE BACK. I ALSO FOUND OUT THAT THE LID LIP IS OUTSIDE THE TANK IN THE BACK, WHICH ALLOWS STEAM TO RUN DOWN THE HINGE, & THERE IS AN OPENING BELOW THE HINGE TO LET WATER RUN DOWN THE BACK. IT SADDENS ME TO SEE THAT THE HAMILTON BEACH TESTING TEAM (IF THEY HAVE 1) MISSED THESE DEFECTS. I DO BELIEVE THIS UNIT WILL BE GOING BACK, & I'LL PAY THE EXTRA $14. FOR THE 12 CUP MODEL THAT IS CLOSE IN DESIGN TO THE LAST 2 UNITS I HAD.

After running 10 cycles, coffee still had plastic taste and smell!!! It was so bad no one could or would drink it. DO NOT BUY THIS COFFEE MAKER!!! I had to return it for different brand. Just out of curiosity opened display model of brewststion to see if mine was unique. It was not. If you intend to buy of these. Smell reservoir first because that if how your coffee will taste and smell!!!

This product is NOT indictative of Hamilton Beach quality! Here are the pros: 1- Coffee level is easy to read 2- Does make 10 cups 3- Large area to pour water into coffee maker 4- Programmable timer Here are the cons: 1- VERY flimsy lid hinges 2- VERY flimsy handle/hinges on water reservoir 3- Very thin gauged filter holder 3- SHORT power cord 4- LCD is small and awkward to read due to mounting position 5- Power button feels mushy I am taking this back to my local Walmart; due to CHEAP construction. I can not recommend this product base upon FLIMSY construction and POOR design.

Didn't have this coffee maker long- this morning while its brewing starts beeping and smelled like it was burning.
