add a little fresh minced onion to make it even better. Also, buy it at Wal-Mart, not walmart.com, much cheaper in store

I LOVE it ! I make cornbread and use buttermilk
I really love this hushpuppy mix ! I do not put onions in it but I am sure it would be even more Delish !!! I make cornbread out of it always ! When my husband bought it I cooked come cornbread emmedelity i got one still hot and ate it just like a cupcake ! I had not been able to find it !

Great for Cornbread Instead
I love this hushpuppy mix but I always make fanastically flavorful cornbread with it. I mix the batter the same way (except I decrease the amount of sugar) and pour it into my preheated oiled cast iron skillet then bake it at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes, give or take, until it is a light golden brown on top. It is so tasty I think I'll make some for supper tonight. I love hushpuppies too but they're not as easy to make and require more oil than I like to use.

More than just a hushpuppy mix
This makes great hushpuppies. Also, good addition to cornbread recipes. My favorite is using it to bread fried pork chops.

this was ordered on Sunday told it was going to be delivered on Monday did not get it then they said Wednesday we were having a fish fry on Friday that's why I ordered this and then they said we wouldn't get it till Saturday so it just totally ruined our dinner
