Great Corn Bread everytime!!!
We love the yellow corn meal, Tender Bake self rising, is great choice!!! I use eggs, dukes mayo and milk, little water if needed. I have always put Duke's mayo in my corn bread mix since I was in my 20's, I am now 73!!! Sometimes I fry, sometimes I bake either one my family and I love it!!! I also freeze left overs for dressing. I don't waste nothing if I can use it later!!!

Great product, poor shipping.
TendaBake is an exceptionally great yellow cornmeal mix. If you follow their recipe on the back of the package, you'll end up with really moist and delicious cornbread. I bake mine in a large cast iron skillet that has warmed in the oven so that I get a great rise to it. My problem is that Walmart let a hockey team practice with the bags before or during shipping. I managed only to save the one bag on top of the others, as all the other packages were opened and spread everywhere. I ordered the 4 pack and one had 1 that I could use. To their credit Walmart did refund the unusable products immediately. Do better shipping Walmart or at least, carry the product in store.

This corn meal makes corn bread like mom made years ago so good. If you want your corn meal coating to turn out well just try tender bake.

My husband makes the best cornbread and only uses the Tenda-bake Yellow Self-Rising corn Meal because you know what you are getting - the best!

Perfect Corn Bread
Mom/Dad always used Tenda Bake yellow corn bread mix it was always so good. I have tried others myself now and they just don't measure it as far as taste, look, texture. This is all I will buy.

don't order cornmeal from here!
I don't have any idea how cornmeal could be this terrible. It didn't rise a mm and was doughy and disgusting! I baked 3 times just to be sure it wasn't me reading instructions incorrectly. The worst part is I ordered 4 bags.
