I haven't ridden a bike in 31 years. This is comfy, manageable and while I don't understand how all the gears work and when to use them. I am learning quicker than I thought. Solid construction, excellent features, value, and quality. It's solid but not heavy, turns great, easy to adjust for height . I'm 5'9 so I'm kinda long in the arms and legs and round in the middle. Although this bike is helping me tone things up! Highly recommend!
and not only delivered it but it was put together! and I would have been charged almost $100 for that and they didn't charge me anything wow! that's my Walmart. that's why I shop here
For how much you're paying, this is a great bike! The bicycle seat is absolutely as hard as a rock so I would highly suggest buying a replacement bike seat
I bought this bike as a budget-friendly entry into biking again, and while I appreciate the price point and the fact that it technically works, there are some serious limitations you should know about. The gears were not properly adjusted out of the box, and getting them to shift correctly has been an uphill battle — and not the fun kind. Even after tightening cables, adjusting screws, and aligning the derailleur, I'm still stuck with limited shifting range. The front and rear gears won't reliably change when using the shifters, and half the time the chain wants to drop or stay stuck in one gear. I'm not a bike mechanic, but thankfully I have experience with dirt bikes and gear cables, or I'd have been completely lost. It rides fine on flat terrain, and if you plan to just “set it and forget it” in one gear, you can get some decent use out of it. The ride itself is comfortable, but the saddle needed tightening right away, and I had to buy a top tube adapter separately to use it with a bike rack. Bottom line: if you're looking for a no-frills cruiser and don't mind doing some DIY tuning (or paying a shop), this might work for you. But if you're expecting reliable shifting or serious trail use, you'll probably be frustrated. I'll ride it for now, but I'm already planning for a better bike in the future.
Liked the size the color was pretty the Curve in the middle of the fram between seat and handle bars is perfect ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ Was road 3 times while riding the DERAILLER broke and chain snapped and then almost sent flying when everything locked up
When i got time to look at the bike. The seat post is rusty along with a bolt down by the petals. The book that came with it was moldy in the plastic bag. You spend that much money you should be entitled to a bike that looks new. I am not impressed.
The bike broke within a week -- chains became tangled into gears. Too bad -- my son loved it while it still worked. I tried contacting Huffy support and it was difficult and slow. I had purchased the protection plan through Walmart, but the plan told me to contact Huffy, so useless. Note that Walmart at first tried to continue charging me for the protection plan after I returned the bike! I had to argue with customer service on-site to get them to also refund the protection plan. I'd recommend to anyone reading this to never purchase a protection plan as this is a clear scam.
Complete trash! Parts are coming loose! Just dangerous! My daughter went on a 6mile ride and literally had to walk all the back because her pedals came off. This was after its second day of use. This bike came assembled via Walmart delivery. It's cheap but it was still a pretty penny for the bike to not even make it a month
What a joke the delivery and professional assembly. First it came delayed, then I received a delivery window for Tuesday but they showed up unannounced Monday (by sheer luck I was at home) and delivery was in a truck full of kids that couldn't use their seat because of the bike and the lady was carrying a gun in her waist… really? That's what I get for $99?
i didnt get my screws i meed them
