[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to use this 4-inch Flex Putty Knife with some joint compound on a project. Unfortunately, because of the squared shape and smooth finish on the plastic handle, it can be hard to hold onto. Being unable to get a suitable grip then creates problems with moving the putty knife around properly. I thought that the riveted handle would improve the strength of the tool. It turns out that the rivet and the space directly around it are loose, which means the blade isn't secured in the handle. Otherwise, the blade seems solid. Per the attached tag, it's rust-resistant. However, the amount of flex wasn't what I was expecting. This putty knife is actually quite stiff and would only flex maybe a quarter of an inch. Overall, this tool was very disappointing.
