I'm able to put this calcium powder supplement in blended fruit drinks without any side effects. I've been using it for several years. If you have trouble tolerating calcium supplements, you might try this one.

The very fine powder is easy to hide, or maybe it just tastes good. I have a very fussy vizsla who can detect all my surreptitious efforts to ensure her prolonged health. She ate her meal with the bone meal powder mixed in, sans a first sniff. Note to self-- stick with muts.

It's bone meal, I'm not sure it has flavor but my dog enjoyed the homemade dog food, and the bone meal ingredient did not sway her feeding frenzy. No apparent flavor enhancement it provided, but I'd say sprinkle some bone meal into their food because of the health benefits it provides, and does not alter the flavor of food they are striving to get. Good on bone meal!

Bone meal sold in garden-supply departments is never to be used for human or animal consumption. Most bone meal supplements come in the form of tablets, and the few companies that sell it in powdered form are fairly pricey. Swanson's price on Kal Bone Meal Powder is the best I've seen.
