Kikkoman Soy Sauce, 10 oz Bottle

Soy sauce is super hard to rate. It depends on what you are wanting and expecting. If you are wanting the nuances of flavor complexity found in real expensive brands, then you will be disappointed. However, if you just want a good tasting general use soy sauce for your everyday needs, then it is awesome. Slightly more expensive than white labeled soy, but also a slightly greater depth of flavor.

I prefer this to the store brand because I feel the flavor keeps better in the glass bottle then the plastic store brand cheaper bottle. But it does cost a few dollars more. I wish they made a smaller bottle that sealed like this because the smaller bottle with the cool flat pouring top doesnt seal shut.

In my opinion, Kikkoman just tastes better than any other soy sauce. It’s a bit more expensive than some other brands but it’s worth the price. Plus, if you’re concerned about your sodium intake, Kikkoman has a low sodium choice that still has that great taste without the high sodium content! (I usually get that one but when I ordered mine, they were out of it). ;)

normally use Aloha shoyu, but for now this is cheaper

Reliable consistent flavor at a reasonable price. Shipping was a complete mess and the delivery service used for this was negligent to leave an obviously saturated box that smelled like soy sauce at the door. People who are paid to pack orders that involve glass need to be trained properly and care about their quality of work so this doesnt happen. This is what destroys a company's profits and in the end those Walmart employees earn less because of the losses they've cost the company. I put in my order of several items and it took 3 different delivery services to get it all. The first part of my order was local and somehow between the store and the ride to my house a 5 lb. bag of rice was apparently slammed in the plastic bag it was in to bust a bag open dead center. Approximately 7 dollar loss to the company. Next part of the order came with no issues. Then today 2 bottles of soy sauce had to travel all the way from across the country in a poorly packed box with only 1 bottle surviving. A $ 1.74 loss to the company again. Close to a 9 dollar loss of a 60 dollar order pretty much wipes out the profit. I'm not put off by the need to break the order up at all. I feel discouraged that so many people who are getting paid for their labor have so little respect for the company they work for to not give their best. The quality of your labor is a direct reflection on who you are as a person. It makes no difference what your wages are, how many personal problems at home you have, how mad you might be at your partner, boss or co-workers.
