KitchenAid - Gourmet Pasta Press Attachment for Stand Mixers - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and my kids and I have had great fun making all the different types of pasta already! Easy to use and we still love watching the pasta shapes come out A bit fiddly to clean the wee disks that make the pasta shapes and haven't figured out if it's possible to use the whole mount of pasta dough (a small amount is left in the auger each time, a tablespoon size at most so doesn't worry us) but worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this attachment because I love my other pasta attachment and wanted to be able to make other types of pasta. I was so impressed at how easy it was to use and how quickly I had made fresh pasta. Cleaning was a little tricky but worth it, just follow the instructions and don't wet the metal plates, wait for the dough to dry out and it's much easier to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love my kitchen aid and pasta roller. So much so that I had to have the pasta press. I have only used it once so I'm sure since fine tuning will come with experience however I found there was a decent amount of pasta stuck b in the chute when I thought it had all been extruded. Also the penne looked amazing but was a little thick for my liking. I will try to boil it a bit longer next time.

I just find it would be so much easier if you could put ALL the pieces into the dishwasher for cleaning. There is a note that indicates some pieces need to be hand-cleaned. I like simplicity and would like to throw everything into the dishwasher after preparation. Also, I would like MORE pasta shapes. Great initial variety, but I'll bet you have some inventive ideas out there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's too time consuming and after trying 3 times to make Fusilli I ended up twisting them by hand after cutting them loose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had such high hopes for this. The recipe it comes with was a huge wet mess which made the pasta pretty much glue together exiting the press. Tried with my own recipe and it was a bit better. The dough needs to be very dry to even remotely work properly. I will use it again to keep trying to get it to do the perfect pasta seen in the photos but as it stands I do not see that happening yet. Especially as this is the most expensive attachment they have you would expect it to work better.
