My son loves to build. I like encouraging him go be creative. He has so much fun building and designing new things with these blocks. It's great for teaching shapes and how putting them together can create new shapes. It's a great educational tool that doesn't seem educational. It allows them to have fun with learning while playing.

My daughter is only three but she was able to do a good number of the puzzle sheets on her own by matching the pieces. It kept her busy for at least an hour. It does intensify with difficulty as so I can see why it's recommended for 4 and up. It comes with lots of pieces to do multiple puzzles at a time. Would recommend.

My kids ages 5, 7 and 8 spend hours on these things. They copy the pictures, make their own pictures, and build creations vertically/3D as well. The shapes are plastic and about 1/4" thick or so, so they can stand upright. Many uses for these shapes, and we love them for our homeschool.

I have a 4 year old and we been practicing patterns and shapes lately and this was awesome. He loves all the different pattern cards that he can choose from. He's now learning about trapezoid, hexagon, diamond, and rhombus are thanks to this set . Highly recommend

My kids really love making patterns with this. It kept them entertained for hours and I got into it as well. It's a great way to get their imagination going as well as teaching them their shapes and colors. I would get them to count how many blue pieces, then red and so on. It's great for them to play with on their own and also nice to play with them. We will definitely be trying out other activities from Learning Resources!!

I try not to buy my kids toys that don't teach them something while they are playing with them. But I've had a hard time finding toys for my youngest who seems to get distracted fairly easy and is not one to sit quietly. So when I saw this Pattern Block Activity Set by Learning Resources, I knew it would be something that she could enjoy. The colorful blocks are a perfect fit for her little hands. The different sized shapes are neat and the quality is great. Some of the pictures are a little more difficult for her to get all of them right but that's okay. This will be something that she can learn and build up to. The cards are heavy duty and have already withstood her hopping and jumping over and on them. I'm very satisfied that this set comes with over a hundred blocks because my daughter refuses to take apart one card just to put another one together. As a mom, I couldn't be happier teaching my daughter that learning can be fun!

We love this set. My kids of all ages have played with this set multiple times. We have incorporated the set into our homeschooling and we use it daily. They love making shapes and adding on to their siblings shape. So many options for things to do. It also comes with cards so you can learn the basics.

These are very nice and the cards that come with them are awesome. I love how they increase in difficulty from simple shapes to mirroring images. The pieces are nice and smooth and my daughter likes making the pictures and practicing with the shapes. She is 5 and can do every card in this box. Definitely recommend!
