I've tried almost every dose and type of melatonin out there, I read that 3mg is the sweet spot range if you need help falling asleep and the time release is key for staying asleep. Higher milligrams of melatonin are NOT better, I was using the 10mg and it did nothing for me, maybe 1-2 nights but after a certain dose melatonin isn't effective anymore. Timing is key — take 1-3hrs before bed and based on my research 3-5mg is the dose that most closely reflects natural melatonin release.

I'm so relieved to finally find something that helps me sleep through the night without leaving me groggy or dizzy. It's taken 25 years to figure out that I needed the time release version of melatonin.

I really like this product and have been taking it for years although, for me, I cut it in half. That is enough for me because I have found when I take the whole 3 mg I have really vivid dreams. I alternate it with LE glycine and another natural sleep aid. Melatonin is gentle, safe and even good for the body. No grogginess or drugged feeling in the morning ever.

I take this about an hour before I think I will stop reading and turn off the light. I feel it relaxing me and usually go to sleep within minutes. I do wake up in the night to go to the bathroom but I am able to go straight back to sleep. I sleep 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 hours nightly

I have been using regular melatonin for years but for the past year I have been waking up in the middle of the night and not able to quickly go back to sleep. Adding this to my regular melatonin gives me a solid 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night.

This stuff is a godsend. Used to take the 3mg drug-store melatonin and would wake up about 3-4 hours after going to sleep, like clockwork. Then have trouble getting back to sleep much of the time. i took the melatonin tablet easy to swallow but it did not help me sleep at all sorry i cannot recommend it did not work for me

I had high hopes for this "timed-release" melatonin. I tried it 3 nights in a row and had the same results each night- Sleep 3 or 4 hours then wake-up and struggle for hours trying to get back to sleep. I did not notice any timed release it worked just like any other melatonin, e.g., gets you sleepy but doesn't last.
