I Get excruciating "Charlie Horse" pains in both legs that wake me up almost every night. My doctor suggested that I take Magnesium supplements because I must not be getting enough Magnesium from the food I eat. I sleep better and my leg pains are super low or none at all since I started taking these before bed every night. This is what Google says about Magnesium supplements: "Magnesium glycinate is a highly absorbable, gentle form of magnesium bound with glycine, commonly used to improve sleep quality, reduce anxiety, and promote relaxation. It relaxes muscles, eases cramps, helps manage PMS symptoms, supports heart health by regulating blood pressure, and aids in blood sugar". As always, ask your doctor before taking any supplements that can have issues with your medications.
I use magnesium glycinate mainly to stay calm and relaxed. It genuinely helps me, especially when I've had a lot of physical activity. I notice less muscle tension and feel more balanced overall. This form is gentle and works well for me.
the doesage is 2 pills after meal once a day. the pills are white medium size. my doctor advised me to take magnesium gylcinate because it's highly absorbancy rate. I feel better after 30 days of taking. it helps with nerve
Just started taking this and I'm feeling calm and relaxed without feeling fatigue. Can't wait to see how I feel after I've been taking it for a while.
I was worried that these would not be as good as the ones I take now, but much to my surprise, they work just as good at keeping my legs cramp free at night!! Much lower price as well! I also use them for joint pain and they work for that too.
I've had great results since starting this magnesium. It's hard to pick something when there are so mandifferent brands. This one is good and price is right
I just got this so I haven't used it for long. I have to take magnesium supplement, and I've been taking another one that is magnesium oxide. I did some reading and found out that magnesium glycinate may aid sleeping. I have trouble with insomnia, so I thought I would try this.
"I have had muscle spasms in my legs for more than 5 years. I've tried every every thing adveritised. This supplement really cuts that down to just a coupla spasms late at night and often none at all. I've ordered my second bottle. Even muscle relaxers while in rehab didn't stop the spasms.
I suppose these are fine vitamins. My doctor recommended this particular brand so I trust that the quality is good. Only, they didn't help for my conditions as I had hoped (those being insomnia and hair loss) leaving me to assume that the cause of which must not be a lack of magnesium.
This is probably an effective mineral but the size of the capsules is huge and unfortunately the gelatin capsule the magnesium is in sticks to the throat when it is wet and tends to choke. After several choking episodes I ordered another magnesium product and it is gel coated and huge also. I wish the manufacturers would show the pill, say the size, something to indicate a pill the same size as other vitamin and mineral pills.
