I compared the bowl and “jars”pricing with other brands and other online stores. Walmart was much cheaper for the quality of bowls and “jars” than the competitors

This is a bargain as many glassware items are here. I also bought a plastic plate that fits on top for very cheap. The price is unbelievable for such quality, I am not sure what more someone would ever want in a bowl like this, it is very big and perfect for mixing bread or tossing salads. Definitely look no further. I am not compensated for reviews, I want people to choose well, and I will also warn against products to stay away from as well. This is not thin, heavy duty would be the keyword.

I have purchased 5 of these sturdy clear 4qt. glass bowls. I've given two away to new bread bakers. I sometimes use 3 at a time to make 9 loaves of sour dough bread. It is the perfect size to allow my bread to double in size overnight (sometimes it grows a little over the top of the bowl).

I looked for this item in the store and they didn't have it. i forgot about it for a few weeks, then ordered on my Walmart app. I thought it was being shipoed and much to my surprise, a Walmart delivery person brought it to me the same day!!! I love the bowl, the price and the ease of receiving it! It is working perfectly for what I intended to use it for!!

This glass bowl makes a great dough bowl. It's easy to clean, allows you to see air bubbles forming as the dough rises, and is heavy enough that it stay on the counter as you pull the dough up (for stretch and folds when working with sourdough).. It holds enough dough for 2 to 3 standard sized loaves.

Price is exceptional. This glass bowl is simply beautiful. Thick top rim nice weight. Deep and wide My purchase was to use for any recipe I need my handheld mixer for to stop scratching the interior of my stainless steel bowls. This bowl would hold dbl. cookie recipe easily, bread dough for rising and room left to spare for a box cake mix. You will not be disappointed in the quality and especially the size! Is lovely enough to sit on a table alone or with fruit etc. and not store away in a cabinet. Buy with confidence. I had not seen it in my store. Ordered online and took a chance. I'm glad I did. This Glass Bowl looks great on the table or in the mixing up stuff area! After getting it, the only thing I wish I had checked on was whether it came with a snap on lid - which it did not. That would be a nice feature. It weathered the dishwasher wonderfully and as for use, it's great for leafy greens as well as on the party food table with chips.

I bought this because I needed a glass bowl this size. The first time I used it, i was pouring hot liquid into it, and it just shattered. It broke into so many large and small pieces that I had to triple bag it to keep it from destroying the garbage bag. It's not a safe product.
