Yummy Cajun!
This would've been perfect if some of the beans were cooked longer. Other than that I was pleasantly surprised to find something with a southern/cajun flavor! Truly enjoyed it with my cornbread!

The first time having Hopping John?? Hop on.. 😎
These black eyed peas are pretty good. The only thing is you may have to add a little more seasoning to them depending on your pallet. Other wise I like Hopping John black eyed peas. I will never soak black eyed peas again. All the flavor., less cooking time. Margaret Holmes does it for you. It's about time someone else cooks for me. Can't wait for the New Year!! Four cans or more., depending on who shows up., Or who is still alive!!😂

How do you get a Black Eye with no Snap???
Not a good value. Tiny little peas that i really wouldn't call black eye peas as i grew up on a farm and have shelled insurmountable number of bushels of BLACK-EYE-PEAS and not a one of them looked like these. They go very light on light on the snaps as well. What? are they endangered. Add a cpl green beans for christ sake.gooc flavor in the pot liquor but thats the only plus.

This Ain't Hoppin John
Flavor is superb but to call this 'Hoppin John' is a travesty. I've had hoppin john many times and this ain't it.

Horrible!!
This was horrible. There were no peppers or onions in this, only a mixture of peas and tomatoes. Won't buy this again!! Horrible!!!!!!!!!!
