Masterbuilt Gravity Series® 1050 Digital WiFi Charcoal Grill and Smoker in Black

Its a solid made grill. Took about 2 hours to put together but everything was clearly marked. This grill is the easiest way to grill with charcoal! Load up the hopper and set your temperature. You can use the wifi feature to watch the temp with your phone and allows for a few other features also by phone. It does good in the rain and doesn't collect water but we will be getting a grill cover soon. I would really recommend this grill.

I've had several cooks so far, last one was spent smoking four different meats: brisket, pulled pork shoulder, a whole chicken and pork belly (burnt ends). Everything came out spectacular.

Got this put together and did a quick cook. Next night I made 3 Ribeyes and grilled some squash. That was by far the best steak I have ever made. It is nearly set it and forget it simple. Ready to throw some ribs, and brisket at it.

I bought my Gravity 560 at a few weeks ago and I am so impressed with this grill. It is very well built and looks like it will last for years. It is also really easy to use - Fill the hopper, light a starter, set your temp and you are ready to cook within minutes. The cooking area is also plentiful. My first cook for 6 people was cedar plank salmon, baked potatoes and grilled veggies. I had plenty of space to cook everything at the same time with room to spare. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, the only negative is the iPhone app that needs some work. Thankfully you don't really need the app to cook amazing food on it.

Fantastic grill/smoker! Gets to desired temperature really quickly and stays exactly where you set it. Easy to reload during long smokes without disrupting the temperature or releasing smoke in the chamber. Multiple temperature probes make it easy to monitor different meats at the same time. App was very easy to connect. All in all, fantastic grill/smoker without breaking the bank!

I bought my Masterbuilt over four months ago but was waiting for them to send me a hopper gasket that did not come with the grill after waiting so long I finally got to use it and my experience with it so far I cooked three things was excellent the grill does exactly what I wanted to do as far as the temperature it was real good spot on I tested it using other temperature unit and it was good and all of the probes work up to temperature settings I have no complaints about the grill just the service of master bill was lacking Took a very long time to send out one envelope.

With this grill, there are only two issues and they're purely quality of life asks. I wish there were additional tool hooks on the front shelf for utensils, and that there was a built in starter of some form for the chimney. Other than those two things, the grill/smoker combo is fantastic. Being able to burn almost an entire bag of charcoal as well as wood chunks for smoking is great. Clean up is easy. The offset fuel source is also great compared to more traditional grills. The double sided grates are fantastic as well, but my favorite is hands down the full size griddle. Being able to sear at 700 degrees is a game changer for what I'm used to. Being able to do rotisserie ribs, smoked Boston Butts, and whatever else I can think of has been made infinitely easier by this grill. I truly believe that anyone who likes grilling and smoking should buy whatever version of the Gravity series that suits their needs.

I have completed several cooks on this grill. I have been cooking on a Weber kettle and had to visit the grill every 15 minutes. This grill with remote monitoring and PID is amazing. It holds the temperature really steady, even in the 20° temps we are having this year. The griddle made some amazing smash burgers and we have charred steaks at 600° and smoked some ribs at 225°. Such versatility allows me to cook what I want!

When I bought my 800 I had high hopes for how great it would be, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I grill, griddle, or smoke something every weekend and all it does is churn out good food. It’s so easy to use that my teenagers are learning to use it too. It has quickly become the topic of conversation with my friends, and they are out buying their own! I can’t recommend it enough!

Temperature control across all grates is respectable and even at all set high temperatures. Average grate temperatures average about 10-15F higher than set point. Ease of loading and cleaning is excellent. The hopper and specifically the lower part of the firebox has completely burned through the metal and into the firebrick after only a half dozen cooks. Concerned about how long that will last and how difficult it will be to replace if even possible. Would recommend if this issue was mentioned in the manual or addressed on the website.
