Masterbuilt® Gravity Series® 800 Smoker Grill - Charcoal Grill plus Griddle Insert, Digital Control, App Connectivity, 800 Cooking Square Inches in Black, Model MB20040221

This is my 2nd time buying. Wish they were higher quality construction but the concept and the food that comes off of it are amazing. I would pay more for something built stronger. Also the wiring is really poorly done. You will have to rework everything. There’s a learning curve to getting the grill started.

Bought this in July but took a 3 month hiatus due to a knee replacement. I love it. I have heard many people complain about how it arrived, problems with certain functionalities. I am lucky enough to see mine had a little dent in it on arrival but nothing that was show stopper. Sometimes it’s a little tough to light but the product that it puts out is be on excellent. Overall I’m very happy with it

Here's the thing - the first impression of overall product quality is when you're assembling the grill, and the manufacturing quality is poor. While the materials seem good, there are too many fit problems with the various parts. See the pictures. I also had two weld nuts that broke loose when trying to attach the ash box, even with only light force. As far as operation, the charcoal bin should be removeable. Sometimes you'll want to add wood flavor chunks in the ash bin and other times in the charcoal bin. But removing the leftover charcoal after use is a pain (and messy) ... and there will always be leftover charcoal, so switching from one method to the other isn't as easy as it should be. Temperature regulation works really good, but it has trouble regulating below 200F. Once warmed up, it responds to a temperature increase quickly, in a minute or two. For example, when you want to increase from 225F to 350F to add a crispy finish to smoked wings. The panel controls are straightforward and the wireless connectivity to a smartphone app seems to work well. The app is a bit quirky and has 10 or more seconds of latency but seems to work.

Works amazingly well, the temp will only vary 5-6 degrees of your setting ,it will maintain it all the way though the 16 pounds of charcoal on long cooks ,I am very happy 😊 providing it keeps working being i haven't had much luck with the other masterbuilt smoker's making it past 3 cooking , so far so good 2 cooking successfully done lol

The gravity makes cooking with charcoal and wood a breeze! The flavor is fantastic. I came from a pellet grill and the Masterbuilt Gravity is a game changer. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is I wish the burn chamber was more made with better, thicker materials. I bought an after market fix that was easily installed to remedy the issue and hopefully it will help make my Gravity last a long time.

This grill and smoker is amazing!!!!! I'm smoking like a pro and my friends and family are in love with my food. It fires up like a gas grill but I get all the great flavor of charcoal and smoke. And it's so easy to operate. Ive been recommending my brother and friend to get this as they are in the market for one.

I have owned quite a few grills my last grill was an electric smoker which I will never own another electric smoker in my life I will stick to the masterbuilt gravity series I bought the 560 and depending on how long it lasts I will eventually upgrade to a bigger gravity series

I have been waiting to order my gravity series 1050 for my Christmas... when I arrived, I was beyond excited!!! I have used it so many times now and I still get so excited! It’s amazing “low and slow” and worked to perfection for hot and fast for some amazing fajitas!!!!!!

I bought my Gravity 560 at a few weeks ago and I am so impressed with this grill. It is very well built and looks like it will last for years. It is also really easy to use - Fill the hopper, light a starter, set your temp and you are ready to cook within minutes. The cooking area is also plentiful. My first cook for 6 people was cedar plank salmon, baked potatoes and grilled veggies. I had plenty of space to cook everything at the same time with room to spare. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, the only negative is the iPhone app that needs some work. Thankfully you don't really need the app to cook amazing food on it.

Fantastic grill/smoker! Gets to desired temperature really quickly and stays exactly where you set it. Easy to reload during long smokes without disrupting the temperature or releasing smoke in the chamber. Multiple temperature probes make it easy to monitor different meats at the same time. App was very easy to connect. All in all, fantastic grill/smoker without breaking the bank!
