I sprinkled this bad boy into my Sunday roast chicken, and suddenly it tasted like it had been slow-cooked by a fancy French chef who moonlights as a wizard. Soups? They gained instant depth. Stews and meatloaf? They leveled up with rich, savory notes that make you go back for seconds (and thirds). Even my roasted veggies were like, "Finally, someone gets me!" The flavor is earthy and balanced—not overpowering, just perfectly supportive, like that reliable friend who always brings the good vibes without stealing the spotlight. What I love most? It's versatile AF. Toss it in stuffing, soups, or a quick veggie sauté. It's organic, so you can feel fancy and responsible at the same time. And at this size, it lasts through countless meals without taking up half your cabinet. If you're still living a thyme-less existence, do yourself (and your taste buds) a favor—grab this bottle and watch your cooking game thyme-travel to delicious new heights. 5/5 stars. Highly recommend. No regrets. Just pure herbal happiness. Pro tip: Add it toward the end of cooking for max aroma explosion. You're welcome.
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This organic ground thyme definitely has a different, deeper fragrance than my discount store thyme, as well as a finer grind and a lighter, more yellowish color. I used it in my chicken and dumplings and a chicken pot pie, and did feel the thyme flavor was a bit richer than usual. I like that it's organic, and would buy this again in the future.
Love this product! Finely ground, tastes delicious and fresh. Love that it's organic. Mixed well in my food. No complaints, will switch to this as my new favorite.
McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Thyme comes with a high end look and taste. Easy to open glass jar with included Shaker cap. I am looking forward to purchasing an assortment of McCormick Gourmet organic spices.
Was hard to find a good ground Thyme. This is perfect and in a glass bottle.
I love McCormick products. I have been using them for over half a century. My mother used them when I was growing up. They have always been a quality product. I do like the more modern spice combinations available on the market and McCormick has a large variety of these. However, I still like to keep single spices for my own creations and McCormick's never fail to give me great flavor. The McCormick Gourmet Herbs Thyme is very good. I use it in combination with other herbs and spices and am always happy with the results. I can't recommend McCormick highly enough. Quality product, attractive look and affordable price.
I have used a lot of Thyme in many recipes but never the Ground Thyme. This addition to my Vegetable beef soup was great. I may never buy the Thyme Leaves again for any recipe. It mixed much faster with the soup and was ever bit as tasty.
I am thrilled with this purchase! I love to use Thyme in many of my recipes with most meats or soups. Usually, all I can find is the chopped kind. I love the ground version so much better because it disappears into the soup, etc., with no little hard pieces in it! I'm so happy I found this and will continue to order it, when I need it.
Upgrade your cooking with the new McCormick Gourmet Ground Thyme. Not only does the container look like a piece of cooking art. It elevates your cooking experience with loads of flavor!
So yet another great McCormick product I honestly didn't expect it to be good just because it says it's a gourmet product but it really is. The taste is like you yourself powdered the thyme and put it in a bottle so you know is fresh and speaking of bottles this one is one that you would want displayed on your counter.
