When McCormick asked if I'd review their dried rosemary it was an easy yes. Rosemary is a favorite herb around here for adding a pop of flavor to roasted vegetables or chicken. We have a large rosemary bush so usually use it fresh but having some in the spice cabinet ready to go is nice too. The new packaging is nice looking and the shaker holes are large enough to accommodate the long thin leaves of rosemary without it getting jammed up. I had leftover baby carrots that needed to be eaten so tossed them in some olive oil and seasoned with kosher salt and rosemary. They turned out beautifully and my family devoured them. With the holidays here I know it will be used often in meals and sides. Great product McCormick.

This product had great flavor compared to some off brands I have tried. Rosemary potatoes is a family favorite at my house so I always benefit from having it readily available. I would definitely buy this product again and I have already recommended it to numerous friends and family!

I typically use fresh rosemary all the time I use it in soups, stews, chicken and especially my famous pot roast. I. I just love fresh rosemary but in the fall, especially during holiday season getting fresh rosemary becomes nearly impossible because everyone is using it just as much as me. I was halfway through making my pot roast when I realized I didn't have any fresh rosemary, and I remembered that I had these McCormick whole rosemary leaves in my cabinet. I used it halfway through cooking my pot roast and when I tell you, it came out exactly the same. No one could tell the difference, including me. I'm definitely gonna keep this on hand for emergencies and even just because it tastes amazing it definitely elevates the meal and as someone who loves rosemary as much as I do, I can definitely would say it does exactly the same thing as fresh. It tastes amazing smells amazing in it works perfectly. I highly recommend these.

I have tried other Rosemary spices before and the difference between this one and others is the freshness I can taste as well as the strength. A little can go along way whereas with others I am constantly adding more, and more, and more. I felt like I only had to add a little to my Italian bruschetta lasagna and it was perfect! I crumbled the dried rosemary into some oil, then added chopped garlic, kosher salt, and fresh ground pepper. The scent was incredible, very strong and fresh compared to other dried herbs. I've started using rosemary in my mashed potatoes when I warm the milk and butter. When I don't have fresh rosemary the dry rosemary leaves work just as good as if it were fresh. I put the rosemary in while the butter is melting and then I strain before adding to the warm potatoes. Really levels up the mashed potatoes flavor.
