My family has been using McCormick seasonings since they came in tins, so I can say without a doubt that they've remained consistent in both the flavor and quality of their products. McCormicks garlic salt is one of my go to seasonings when it comes to almost all of my homemade BBQ rubs, especially if it's a rub that I use on pork. The salt helps to season and pull the moisture out of ribs and pork butts while the garlic works its way into the meat itself. Again, an absolute staple in my rubs especially when making baby back ribs. Also do yourself a favor. Next time you make popcorn, pour some melted butter over it and then sprinkle it with the garlic salt. This has become a must for movie nights on the couch with my wife! You'll thank me later.

This garlic salt tastes great! I used it this weekend to make shortcut garlic bread (toast, unsalted butter, and garlic salt) - which tasted fantastic. Not too garlicky or salty, but definitely gave the bread the garlic bread hit I was looking for in a pinch. Then this afternoon I used it to add to my potato salad for Labor Day tomorrow.
