Mobil 1 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-20, 12 Quart

I had a truck (7qts) and a car(5qt) to do the oil on so this was the perfect amount for me. It cost about what I would have paid for smaller 1 and 5qt bottles just for the trucks oil change. The only thing to remember is you have to put the old oil somewhere. Most of us put it the bottles we just used. In this case you may be able to funnel it back into the bag (a threaded spout on the valve would help and also help a little pouring hose ). But old milk or water jugs with screw on tops works just as well.

I didn't like that instead of 12 gts bottlesi in the container,there was 1 container bag consisting of 12 gts .I would tell the customer to read the small print before odrering.The oil in itselfr is great,but i didn't need a bulk bag of oil.

At first, I was surprised to receive the bag in the box. It is the lowest-cost way to buy oil. It is a form of having bulk oil in a smaller quantity.I will continue to buy my Mobil 1 this way.

I thought there were 12 individual quarts inside the box. To my surprise it was 1 big bladder with a spigot on it like a wine box. Was not a big issue to me but it may be to some. Price was good for a prmium motor oil.

Be sure when you buy this you understand it is one big plastic bag with a spout on it. The dispenser works good but it is best if you have some 5 quart containers to put it in. This is my favorite oil and it is cheaper to buy this way.

Bought it when it was on sale. I had some old 5 qt jugs available and I emptied the oil into the old jugs to keep better track of how much oil I had on hand. Will buy again if it is in stock.

I still recommend this because the average price per a quart is great. The packaging though is not the best. Just like another buyer, I had to open the box...carefully!! and rotate the bladder around so the spigot would align up with the hole for it. Also, while I had the bladder out, I could not find a symbol for recycling, so is the bladder recyclable? At least when I get the 5 Qt. big plastic jugs, they are marked for recycling.

I have to admit, when I first bought this bladder/bag in a box and it said that it was supposed to hold 12 quarts I was a little skeptical, thinking for the 12th and final quart am I going to have to pull the bladder out and work really hard to get the full last quart? I was surprised to find out that mine held 12 quarts plus an extra 12 ounces. That final 12th quarts almost poured out of the spigot as well as the first 11. ( 12th one I did have to tilt it forward alittle). I had kept an old empty 1 quart (32oz) oil bottle and poured from the bladder spigot into that so I knew how much to fill. It did drip a drop or two after shutting off the spigot so I just left a drip catcher under it. For anyone who's trying to save money, especially on full synthetic oil, this is a really nice way to do it. I had an extra 12 oz that remained after the 12 quarts had been taken out, then and only then did I have to rip the box completely open to get out the rest.

Recommend getting this to anyone that dopes their own oil changes. Although the spout isn't the best. More times than not I spill some on the floor when trying to close it. This has been the case after at least a couple purchases of this product.
