Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Automatic Burr Grinder Black Precision Grinding for all Coffee types in Black

I updated my old version from 10 years ago. This is a big updated! Much quieter and has rubber feet that help reduce noise. Larger baskets for both the beans and grounds. Many grinding options. I can quickly move between 1.5 cups to 3 cups with slider control. On the back is the wheel/dial to set the grind level.

used it many, many times for a long while now . it's still doing good . P.S. be aware all grinders are loud, but it is worth it.

This is my 3rd coffee grinder. The best ever. Grinds so much better, the mechanism is much heavier.

Works great. Cheap, and reliable for months now.

Not sure how easy it will be to keep clean

I like that the grind is variable from very fine to coarse, and that you select the number of cups from 2 to 12. The only drawback for me is that the grind chamber slides a bit out which causes the grinding to stop. So, I just hold it in while grinding. I like it enough to have bought a second one for my brother-in-law who loves his coffee.

Small and takes up little space. Settings are straightforward. The cups per the slider are light, they must think we like weak coffee, so adjust according to taste. Grinds beans very well. Main gripe with this machine is that it's messy: I have yet to grind coffee with it and not get grounds everywhere. Good value so far, we will see how durable it is.

The grinder seems to grind the coffee beans too fine... no matter where I set it at.

Very, very disappointed. As for esthetics and properly working to some degree. Yes, it grounds beans, but nothing close by definition of the Coffee Bean industry - See below. I specifically need and want a course ground for percolator and French Press, but the best this unit provides is a grind equivalent to Grounded Red Pepper ON THE %2312 COURSE GRIND setting. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. Fine - The smallest grind size, similar to table salt. This is the ideal grind size for espresso and Turkish coffee. Medium-Fine - A slightly larger grind size, similar to granulated sugar. This is a good grind size for AeroPress, moka pot, and pour-over coffee. Medium - A medium grind size, similar to sea salt. This is a good grind size for drip coffee makers and French press. Medium-Coarse - A slightly larger grind size, similar to coarse sea salt. This is a good grind size for cold brew coffee. Coarse - The largest grind size, similar to peppercorns. This is a good grind size for Turkish coffee.

I was so excited to get a burr grinder so I could get consistent ground coffee for my French press. But instead I got a mixture of course ground coffee which was still too fine in my opinion and fine coffee dust. The results were my French press coffee tasted like it had mud in it! Went back to my blade grinder! Yup now I know why those burr grinders cost so much instead of crap like this!
