I really love using these pasta made dumplings for when I fix chicken and dumplings. It's so easy to use and tastes great! Love to use this on days when I just don't know what to fix. This makes a hearty and great tasting meal. I just add a vegetable on the side and maybe even a can of cranberry sauce as an extra tasty addition.
My go to, no fail noodles that retain their shape when cooked and don't turn to mush when reheating leftovers. The dumpling size is great for holding more sauce and I can get away without making homemade dumplings in a pinch when I am pressed for time. I use them more for creamy beef stroganoff, but would love to experiment with a cream-based, lemon-pepper chicken after discovering how good Mrs Dash seasoning has such a lemon pop to it. I think that would go great with these noodles or even a quick curry. I have even used these for a meal with just butter, salt and pepper when struggling to find something my stomach could keep down without making me nauseous when I wasn't feeling well. These noodles are just a great, quick, comfort food when your mom is no longer around to give you that hug when you're sick and you're not feeling up to roasting a whole chicken.
Like it better than dean's I have never tried this so until I try it, I can't give you a true honest answer of how it tastes, and all that. I really like these onions, but sometimes you have to use them real fast because I've watched the employees stand and throw them so they get bruised up pretty fast but if you use them fast enough, they are great onions. I really like these little potatoes a lot a lot better than the big ones because they don't seem to get bruised as much as the big ones, but if anybody from the company stands and watch their employees they will see. I really love these bags of vegetables. They are a lot better and a lot fresher and don't get tore up as much as the ones out there on the shelf. Again, I'm gonna reiterate the bag frozen bags of vegetable vegetables are a lot better than anything that you're hanging out there or putting on the shelf. They don't get breed up as much as what's out there. I love fresh vegetables, but I don't like having to bring a home and take care of them the same day it's easier buying the frozen in the back in the freezer when you get home then standing in a cat in the map but if you don't stand and cut them up, you'll find out it rocks real fast on your counter or in your refrigerator.Iwould rather these be thicker.
these noodles are like Grandma's. kinda melt into soup and add alot of flavor. you need to add more broth because they soak up juices. my fav dumpling ones!
DUMPLINGS!! Or as my family calls them NOODLE BUGS! Great for Stroganoff, Chicken Noodle Soup, and just plain old NOODLE BUGS - which is buttered and sour cream mixed in with or without peas!
One of my favorite noodles. All you need is butter!
This is the only noodles I purchase
No Yolks about it. These are some of the best egg noodles we've ever purchased. They're not as dense as some egg noodles can be when cooked and they taste fantastic with just butter and Parmesan, maybe toss in some bacon bits. I am a Walmart associate.
When I want a quick supper, I use these. I boil some water with chicken and broth. I then add a can of cream of chicken and some chicken base, then a stick of butter and bring to a simmer. I add these and cook till the noodles are tender. They are good just that way or ladled over some fresh made mashed taters.
They changed the shape of this noodle. Instead of being square, it's not looks 25% smaller and it's no longer square. This is literally the only brand that would carry a square flat (ish) noodle that I loved using for beef tips and gravy. So extremely disappointed.
