NOW Organic Raw Unsalted Sunflower Seeds, 16 Oz

These organic sunflower seeds are good. You can control what's on them, what they are roasted in and salted with ---or not. Not a big problem. I placed some in a glass baking dish, sprayed lightly with olive oil and roasted at 350 for a few minutes. Careful their hot.

I mix it with other nuts,seeds & dry fruits. Or add it to my oatmeal.

These were very good although they were crunchy. I haven't had actual FRESH, right out of the hull sunflower seeds in a couple decades,but I seem to remember them being not so crunchy. It's almost like these were roasted, just not salted. I stay away from salted items. I will order more of these as I really did enjoy them, just not sure about how 'raw' they really are. Also, I've gotten other brands and had to deal with a lot of hulls mixing in with the seeds. I only found 3 slivers of hulls in this bag so not bad. The expiration date is still 6 months out on the package. But like I said, they're very tasty and I'm ordering more.

These are good, but I think I've had better. The kernels aren't all as plump as I've had in the past. However, these may be the first organic ones I've had, and I definitely like them enough to buy them again. They are incredible sources of magnesium. They make a great snack mixed with organic raisins--super healthful!
