For those of us that have acid reflex, they say you have too much acid. The documentary say you don't have enough acid so I took this and my stomach has been marvelous no more acid reflex.

I had no idea I was very low in stomach acid until doing some testing home-based testing suggested by a dietitian. Taking the HCL right before every meal has made a huge difference. I am digesting things easily, in a way that I can't remember doing for years.

A few times a year I fast for about 3 days. When I would break my fast and have type of food, even some broth or something light I would get really bloated and nauseous. When you fast your stomach doesn't produce as much acid and it can be hard to digest food. Now I just have a betaine HCI and I don't get an upset stomach.

If you are in your mid 40's and especially if you are a senior citizen... your stomach can no longer produce enough acid to digest your food. Especially if you eat a cooked meal or follow a poor diet. Not being able to digest your food completely is the reason for gas, bloating and belly fat. If you are a senior, your stomach produces ZERO HCL. Food rots in your bowel. Wife and I have been taking this Now product for years. If we have a cooked meal we take two capsules before and three after the meal. The capsules dissolve quickly in the stomach after swallowing. I will actually bite into the capsules before swallowing. Remember, it is acidic. I highly recommend this product but do your own research. What happens if you cannot digest your food?

I have suffered from major heartburn for over a year read that this supplement would help. First time taking it I was amazed at the fact I had no heartburn. Will definitely purchase again!

I ordered this item but after several days went by and no updates on the shipping status I decided to check my account updates. Turns out there was a delay but no explanation why or even when it might ever arrive. I requested of Walmart to cancel the order %26 they did.
